Highly recommend it
I recently purchased this tent that attaches to the back of my car, and I couldn't be happier with this product! As an avid camper and road-tripper, I've used various tents over the years, but this one is a game-changer. The setup process was surprisingly straightforward. The instructions were clear, and I was able to get it attached to my SUV and fully pitched in under 15 minutes, which is a huge plus after a long drive. The quality of the materials is excellent. The fabric feels durable and waterproof, and the zippers are sturdy and don't snag. We had a bit of rain on our first trip, and the tent stayed completely dry inside. I was particularly impressed with the amount of space it provides. It comfortably fit a queen-sized air mattress with plenty of room to spare for our gear. The connection to the car's cargo area is seamless and creates a perfect extension of our vehicle, which is incredibly convenient for accessing power outlets, charging devices, and just having a quick, sheltered spot to grab things. The design is also well-thought-out, with large mesh windows for ventilation and excellent bug protection. The tent's ability to stand on its own when detached from the car is a nice feature, giving us the flexibility to drive away for a day trip without having to pack everything up. This tent has made my camping experience so much more comfortable and hassle-free. It's a fantastic investment for anyone who loves car camping and wants a reliable, spacious, and easy-to-use shelter. Highly recommend it!

Works with my Truck (with a truck bed cap).
I'm a big fan of this tent. I purchased for use with my Honda Ridgeline (with cap) and it worked great. Spacious and I can stand up with plenty of head room. Had some steady rain with no leaks. It is even possible to detach from the truck and leave standing. Reattaching takes some precision parking, but it is very possible. Solo set up takes some time, but is doable and gets easier each time. Be sure the mind the note about zippers in the set up, this will make sure they aren't pulled too tight or out of alignment, which will cause problems zipping. I was nervous about this purchase because I was unsure of what to expect, but I've been MORE than pleased. I'm excited to take it out more this spring.

A newbie camper’s review…
Ok, for the price, I think this tent is great. I saw a couple tents that were cheaper, but I didn’t want to totally skimp out for my first time camping. I read people had problems with the zipper breaking; I could see that. It’s not the strongest zipper, very light. So if you don’t take your time to follow the seams to keep it from catching, I can see how it would break. It’s like zipping up a windbreaker too quickly. It’s going to catch. That being said, the tent is not a thick material, (is it supposed to be?) it really is more like a light windbreaker. Like anything, test it out before you actually need it. I practiced putting this tent up by myself and it took me just under 20 minutes. It’s very doable. The instructions are written on a tag inside the bag and they have pictures! (Super helpful.) With two people, we got it set up in 10 minutes. Used it to go car camping for a week and it held up very well! A couple nights were a little windy. But all nights were dry, so I can’t comment on how it will hold up in the rain. If you can remember how you unfolded the tent the very first time out of the bag, keep the same folds, and it will be very easy to get all the air out and have it fit right back into the storage bag. (Maybe this is common sense, but like I said, this is my first time ever camping and using a tent.) That being said the only two things have to do with the fact we used this with a Jeep Wrangler. 1.) There are a couple small gaps, but that’s probably due to the boxiness of the Wrangler. 2.) I wish I paid attention to where the tent door is located. The tailgate opens into the only door on this tent. More of a convenience issue, but we made it work. Because I know this specific tent is reliable, I won’t bother testing out another one with a different door. It’s worth the hassle and I’m happy that I ended up with a quality tent that I’ll be able to use again.

Really cool set up!
Just got this tent out for its first camping trip and we were really impressed. This was the 2nd tent of its type that we bought. The reason I like this one more is because although you can attach it around the bottom of your car, you don’t have to and it still has a pretty decent seal from the outside. After traveling for hours the exhaust is hot and the last option we got didn’t work with that. You cant put a tent over a hot exhaust or it’ll burn. Also if you need to start your car you dont want to have to undo your entire tent. This one I love that it’s free standing to you can unhook your car and leave in a breeze. We have our mattress in our Subaru outback and then use the tent for changing, holding all of our totes/coolers, keeping out of the sun, and to have a place to hangout in the rain. Its tall enough that even out friends that are 6’3” fit well. One of my favorite features is the flap that goes in the back of your car giving it a seemless transition from tent to car. I will also say this tent is impressively air tight. During take down we pulled the poles out and still have a big bubble where air was holding inside. The windows are large and create great air flow throughout when open. Set up and take down were very easy, we just beefed up the stakes. A couple of pockets inside were nice and a hook to hang your lantern on. Definitely worth the money! My one downside would be how thin the black layer is on the ground. Definitely need a good thick tarp under the tent, if you’re on a rocky site it could tear with feet being on it. Overall very impressed with size, quality, ease, and space!

Great purchase!
Really good quality material. It even impressed my brother, who is a camping equipment snob. Easy to put up and it fit perfectly on my Ford Maverick (with a Snugtop shell) So roomy and extra height made it even better! The maiden voyage met with snowfall and it worked great.
