**Q: How hot is the black truffle?**
A: Obviously, "hot" is somewhat subjective, but I would put this on par with or just slightly hotter than sriracha, if that helps.  I wouldn't eat it straight from the jar, but the flavour definitely comes through more than the burn.  It's outstanding, and so versatile!

**Q: Is it securely sealed? The jar arrived with the plastic tamper-proof seal torn and down below the lid.**
A: Our distribution center inspects all products prior to shipment regarding seals on jars and bottles. The plastic tamper proof seal could have dislocated in shipment. Enjoy in good health. It is an excellent tasting chili crunch.

I picked up the Momofuku Black Truffle Chili Crunch out of curiosity, and now it’s one of those things I don’t want to run out of. The flavor is bold but really well balanced — you get that savory chili crunch first, then the umami hits, and the truffle comes through without being overpowering or fake-tasting.
