Superior Overall
These are essentially the go to brand used by popular restaurant chains that offer peanuts as a snack. The quality is better than the Hampton Farms trash that is generally available here in Hampton Roads. They are still relatively local, coming out of the Carolinas. The value for money is also very good, since you're getting 5lbs for essentially a $20 or less price. 5 lbs. is pretty generous, especially for one person living on their own like me. A great simple snack. There have been none that have tasted funny like in other brands when the peanut is malformed or small. A slightly noticeable number of empties, but again, out of a 5 lb. bag, that's not really a big deal.

Good, quality peanuts.
I loveee this brand. The peanuts are so fresh and tasty...just the right amount of salt. My order arrived timely and intact! Will definitely order again, and again.

Disgustingly stale with putrid brown "salt" dust
AVOID. DO NOT BUY. DOES NOT DESERVE EVEN ONE STAR RATING! I love peanuts in a shell and typically purchase from a local grocery store. Since local supplies were empty, I took a chance on Sachs via Amazon. As soon as I laid my eyes on the 5 lb bag, I knew it was trouble. Even before opening the bag, I could tell something was wrong as many shells were broken and there was an abundant powder inside (which seemed strange). Once I cut the bag's end off with scissors, I was greeted with a brown/grey cloud of "salted" powder on my kitchen counter. What madness was this? The simple act of pouring a few dozen into a small bowl made a dusty mess. Trying to break them open was a dusty mess. But the worst was the taste. The taste was putrid, terrible, lousy and just about made me vomit (despite being many months away from the expiration date). This will be my last purchase of Sachs peanuts. I'm not sure that I even want to set them out for my neighborhood squirrels. AVOID. DO NOT BUY. And this product is exempt from returning. AVOID. DO NOT BUY AS MANY OTHERS HAVE STATED.

Salty goodness
Too salty for this old guy, but delicious. I'll get unsalted next time

Sachs quality peanuts
Ignore the "whiners" .....Sachs is by far the best, and freshest peanut on the market. Sure, occasionally you may get some broken shells, peanut dust, and the occasional stale nut, but that's the purpose of buying real, unshelled peanuts verses conventional brands that are prepackaged for stores.....know what you're buying verses what you want before you make uneducated comments.....if you don't like it, it's simple, dont buy it!!!!!

Very Similar to Five Guys PEANUTS π₯ 5 star here
I came across a instagram post with 2 links, one being this brand on peanuts claiming this is similar to the fast food chain, Five Guys restaurant. I'm pleasantly surprised with these salty chruchy savory roasted peanuts and how they close of flavor tone and crunch they resemble to 5guys! However, I didn't pay attention to HOW big of a bag I order π and it's definitely a hefty 5lb pound bag! ANYONE want some peanuts πPros:Shells coated with medium-heavy salt (ok for some)RoastedBag fully intactLittle wasted broken crushed shellsCon/cautionVery Salty shells (may be too satly for some)

Peanuts were not fresh
Peanuts were stale and their shells were rather soft. Disappointed.

Like ballpark peanuts
I ordered this as a test since I love peanuts but a can of Virginia peanuts in my local market is now almost ten dollars and the weight is about ten ounces. For $20 I got five pounds of peanuts. They are in the shell, but that's OK - I have to work to get the good stuff. They are nicely salted and taste very fresh. I am now keeping a bowl of them on the table in the room where we watch TV and another bowl on the counter in the kitchen. These are very good Virginia peanuts at a very good price. Football playoffs are about to start. Get a big bag now, sports fans.
