Airtight Coffee Canister in Dove Grey by Henry Watson, Made in England

This coffee canister is great! I’m very happy with the purchase.It is a nice thick, quality item. I love the look of the front and the color. It should be noted that the color is more of a light gray in my opinion, which is even better for my tastes. I thought it looked almost like a greenish tint in the pictures.The lid seems to be airtight. It has a rubber ring around it that creates a nice seal. I’m not sure I’ll ever know for certain how airtight it is, as coffee doesn’t last long in our house, so completely airtight wasn’t a total necessity.The only slight negative I can say about it is the size. It stands just shy of 6 1/2 inches so, fitting a pound of grounds might not work. We added grounds to It from a 10 oz bag that was almost full and it fit. The scoop we use needed to be buried into the grounds vertically, as the canister isn’t wide enough for it to lie horizontally (see picture).For us, this works perfectly, as we wanted something attractive to have out on our counter. The fact that we might not be able to fit all the grounds from certain bags of coffee was not a dealbreaker for us.As long as you’re ok with the size of it and you like the look of it, I highly recommend this purchase as it is very good quality.

This is an excellent product. It is on the small side, but British craftsmanship is always highly recommended. The canister is sturdy and seems long lasting and does indeed keep coffee fresh which is the main thing. The seal is very good. Something nice to look at every morning is a plus. Much appreciated that it is made in England. Thank you for this high quality coffee canister.

This is well made, great seal on the wood lid, attractive and just the right size I was looking for.

Good quality and cute. Knocking off a star because it doesnt hold a standard size bag of starbucks coffee... sort of defeats the purpose of keeping my coffee fresh...

Well, obviously, just because it's made in England doesn't mean it's good. But these have been made in England for a long, long time, and the fact that people are still making them in England means they have probably been making pretty good stuff such that people like me, and perhaps you, are still buying things from them despite the fact that you can buy things from elsewhere, for less. But no, you want the little dove grey canister made in England. It's quite nice. A little smallish for holding coffee, but perhaps that's just a reflection on the amount of coffee we drink, and not a mark against these fine canisters. Nice color, nicely fitting lid, all's well. I can sleep well at night knowing I will wake up to this little canister and can look forward to some delightful morning coffee.

I've bought a few of these. Originally I bought one for our home. But I liked it so much I ended up buying a few more for gifts for other people, some business and some friends. Good quality container and well made. Came very well packed!

Looks great in our kitchen. Not cutesy. Looks like something you will see in a French kitchen
