I can't believe these are budget pencils
I bought these because someone said they were 'pretty good' and they were cheap. At the time I only had two other brand pencils, one of which I hated, the other being a good low-high end pencil. And there were a 120 of them! These are not 'pretty good'. These are _amazing_. They come in square shape, too, but those are constantly sold out. However, these rounds have the same amazing qualities, with the bonus of actually being able to buy them. They are oil based, go on like coloring with butter. The leads sharpen to a high point without shattering. The leads are well centered in the pencil. I did get one pencil with a bubbled paint-job. Looks like it stuck to the pencil next to it before getting pulled apart. This is just cosmetic, though, and the pencil functions just fine. They are water soluble. They will move with water. I consider it a feature not a bug.I did get rid of the plastic box container and put my pencils in a zipper storage book. I haven't thrown the old container out as it's well made and is suitable to re-use for something else. This package also comes with 4 small coloring books with poor paper. If you use these little books to judge how the pencils work, you will be disappointed. Use a good coloring book. Give these little books to the kids, they'll quite like them.I do recommend buying these. Excellent for students that want a good pencil set without killing the piggy bank. I also recommend buying them before the manufacturer realizes what a good product they have and put the price up.

vibrant, blendable, soft, smooth and WATERSOLUBLE
I bought these cheap pencils on a whim, and am so pleased with them. The colours blend smoothly, are highly pigmented, and - bonus joy - they are watersoluble. This makes them a super bargain buy, and compares favourably with the most expensive pencils on the market [I also have some of those]. It is not mentioned in the advertising, but they work beautifully as watercolour pencils. I am not sure about light fastness, and i don't really care, as i am not selling or framing my art. I bought them to use as an economical base layer to save my expensive pencils, which I then intended to use for the final layers of the drawings. So much more than I expected. These also seem to be called Guang Hui, and the name printed on the pencils is Brutfuner. They don't come with colour names, but they are numbered, handy for selecting shades which look similar on the pencils themselves... There are many gorgeous shades of violet, mauve and purples, as well as reds and greens. Really useful . You won't regret investing a few pounds in these. I paid about £20 for 120. Such fun.

These are GREAT!
Fairly cheap considering the number of pencils you get and they are fab. The colours are so rich and vibrant and they work especially well with Zest-it blending solution. I love them and I’d highly recommend. The colouring books are a bit useless, for me anyway, as they are really tiny pictures and I think you’d find it hard to colour them in neatly but I didn’t buy the set for the books and they would have been an added bonus.

Beautiful pigmented pencils but they break alot
These pencils are really good, they came well packaged and we'll presented in the sturdy plastic case, they are oil based pencils so if you are used to working with just wax based pencils then these require slightly more pressureThey layer really well, they blend well the only issue I have with them is sharpening they tend to break alot! Worse than Crayola and they have no colour names on the barrel just the numbers

Beautiful to use, better than polychromos for the price
I wasn’t sure how god these would be after normally using Pablos, Luminance and Holbein pencils but I was really surprised at how good they are. Beautifully creamy, easy to blend and the colours are strong. Highly recommend them over the much more expensive Polychromos.

Excellent Pencils for the Price
I can't believe that I am reviewing a £20 set of 120 pencils with the word excellent in the title! I have lots of expensive pencils (Polys, Prisma, Coloursoft - you name them, I most likely have them) and I also have many of the more budget brands (Arteza, Castle Arts, Marco Raffine, Staedtler etc). These pencils outshine the budget pencils I have by a long way. They lay down and layer really well, are soft and easy to blend. I am really enjoying using them over all my other pencils! They are not as soft as Prismas, but for me that's better as I actually find Prisma's a bit too soft and waxy. I have not had any trouble with breakage, they sharpen well and hold a good point. They are not at all crumbly and only have a very minimum of fallout/dust when using.I 100% recommend these pencils and am going to buy a second set for once this first set us used up. As an aside, they work excellently in the Johanna Basford books, they seem really suited to the paper in those books.Oh and if you're buying this set for the free colouring books that come with them, don't! They are small. thin books with impossibly small images to colour! They are basically samples of books by Johanna Basford (Lost Ocean), Daria Song (Time Travel - that's the one with the girl with her pants showing!) and others. Don't let the offer of the free books sway you, the pencils standalone for the price anyway. Enjoy!

Amazing quality
I was amazed at the quality of these pencils, they lay down a great amount of pigment, with the lightest touch, and layer beautifully. The pigment is vibrant, and the colours are lovely. The wood smells like best quality cedarwood, and sharpens perfectly. I've had no breakages on sharpening. The pencils glide smoothly across numerous papers. Do not be put off with the low price of these pencils, I'd put them up there with my polychromos and prisma pencils.

Sterke kleuren, potlood glijdt over papier, goed mengbaar, top prijs/kwaliteit !
Beste budgetvriendelijke potloden voor mij tot nu toe, zeker om volwassen kleurboeken in te kleuren. Potloden geven sterke kleuren, blenden heel goed, iets zachtere core, veel kleurkeuze. Heb direct een 2de doos gekocht!!!🤩 Love them!💋

Boite a crayons
