Dog Man - Collector's Edition [DVD]

Old: The digital code is not working. Which cuts this into a half delivery. Since 2.5 stars are not possible, two will do.I have nearly a 100 movies at Movies Anywhere, never failed so far.New: Movies Anywhere after four emails solved it. All fine now. If they keep the promise, the problem will be solved in general soon. Any product is only as good as their support.

According to my son the movie was true to the books especially the art style. It was a fun comedic animation that was short and sweet just like this review.

My autistic daughter saw this movie twice at the theater and loved it, so this was a great birthday present!

With movies, I always wonder whether I'm expected to review the quality of the disk or do a review of the movie itself. As far as the blu ray disk goes, everything has been good. No problems with the picture quality or the sound. One thing I found odd is that I can only purchase the disk for Dog man in DVD and HD formats; it is not available in 4K, which is my preference. When I entered the digital code and then streamed it, I had the option to upgrade to a 4K of the digital. IMO, 4K is more relevant for the hard copy than the digital since the latter is compressed. Having the 4K in disk format is a step up from streaming it.As far as the movie itself goes, I thought it was so so. I got a few laughs out of it, but the plot was very basic. IMO, I think it targets an audience that is gung-ho about the Dog Man books.
