Crust-Boosting Powerhouse for Homemade Pizza Nights 🍕
I bought this pizza steel to take my homemade pizza to the next level. My standard oven doesn’t give enough bottom heat, and I wanted a way to crisp the crust without burning the top. This steel does exactly that! This thing is heavy, and that’s a good thing. It’s solid steel, smooth, clean, and professional-looking. The quality is obvious the moment you open the box. On the first use, I got a golden, crispy crust and perfectly melted cheese. It cooks faster, which helps avoid overbaking the top. The size of my pizza is is limited by the size of my pizza peel. But that being said, if it's perfectly on this pizza steel. Moreover, the pizza steel itself fit in all three ovens I tried. Great balance of surface area without being oversized. It discolors slightly with use (normal), but it’s easy to clean. I just leave it in the oven full-time and don't have to worry about taking it in and out. Bottom line: This is a must-have tool if you’re serious about pizza night. Solid construction, great results, and totally worth the investment. I’ll be using it for a long time to come.

Buy it! Great pizzza, bread and more!
I wish I'd known to buy this over the pizza stone. My only gripe is having to wait for it to heat up, but it's well worth the wait. Not just for pizza but for breads, which I prefer to open bake. I would say it's about as heavy as a Dutch oven, but you don't have to take it out of the oven while it's piping hot and risk of burning yourself. Let it cool in the oven as it holds heat for a while. Easy to store. Once seasoned, easy to clean and maintain. I like the size for me, since I only bake 1-2 loaves at a time and my pizzas are no larger than 12inches. The hole in the corner makes it easy to grab. Really wish I could find a 12x12 or 11x11 to fit my countertop oven.

Do not buy
Product came defective with a sticky residue that I can’t get off. It smells like motor oil too. Reached out to the company on their website and through Amazon and haven’t heard back .

Came damaged
Update: this seller went above and beyond to correct this issue. So I’m editing my review. I left the issue in my review so others could see if they have the same issue. The product is a great product and I highly recommend. It cooks pizza beautifully. This is how it arrived after peeling the wrapping off. I tried to see if it was just glue but it would not come off. It seems to be nice and heavy probably works good. I tried to go to website listed below to see if this was a common or if there was a way I could fix it but safari gave me a warning about the website so who knows.

Sticky Substance
Edit: great customer service received a gift and a new round steel. Works great restaurant quality pizza from my oven. Well just like most people mine showed up covered in a sticky plastic substance making the steel unusable as I don’t want that in my 500 degree oven. Looks like customer service is good so I’ll contact them directly, I will update review after dealing with company

Appearance concern.
Newest Updated: Oleek sent me their round 16x16 pan to try due to original issues (read first review) which they made good on before sending this new pan. The round is far superior than the rectangular. Its heat retention is better, aesthetically better , and creates that crispy bottom you long for. update: I have left my previous review just for others . But I have increased my stars to 5 due to the company reaching out. They have went above and beyond more than I could ask for. As far as the grease/oil you may find on your steel when you first receive it, it is seasoning oil and safe according to oleek themselves. It may be sticky and you can clean it off and reapply oil to it. Thanks oleek for getting back to me and setting the standard for customer service. First review: The product came with a tiger striped pattern of grease. I went to Oleeks website and reached out via their customer support a few days ago and still have not got a response. " I'm sure the steel works fine but is this pre-seasoned grease, cutting grease from a laser,torch or water jet table, do you have tips to clean it because I would be willing to do that? " are things I said in my email. As of now I am unhappy and any response would be much appreciated.

Great Product, Great Company
When I first got the steel, it had some kind of residue that I couldn’t wash off. I reached out to customer service and they sent me a new (and newer model!) steel that is amazing and works so great. It’s the Sam as a Lodge pan I have, but it was a quarter of the price. Super durable, and heavy (which is good!) I definitely recommend this profit and company!

This steel makes perfect crispy pizza crust. Works great.
This steel works great for our pizzas. I live in Fl and have tried two outdoor propane pizza ovens. My living area is elevated so my back porch (lanai) is on the second floor. It is a little breezier up there so I was struggling with wind messing with my oven temperatures and flame. So I thought I would try it inside in my conventional oven and would try this steel. It works great. Just heat the steel at 550 degrees for an hour in your oven. Then reduce the oven temp to 450 when you’re ready to cook your pizza. It’s easy to learn to control for the crispiness that you may want. We like it so much that we bought two. So when we make multiple pizzas we can cook one on the top rack and stage another on a lower rack. This way the one on the lower rack can stay in the oven longer to get the crispiness that a guest may prefer. Good product.
