I bought these for my sketcher shoes as their sizing has changed and i bought couple pairs that are too big and now i can't return them. I've found they work best when placed higher in the heel of your shoe, to give your heel some room to fit under it. Once they are in they do not come out easily which makes them slightly tricky to insert because of the adhesive-it doesn't slide around. That said, once they are in they stay put and give about 1/4" of padding so slightly large shoes don't slide up and down.
