OPEN THE JUG WITH THE TIP OF A SCREWDRIVER
This is fine, expeller pressed, organic oil at a good price delivered promptly. The reason for my 4 stars instead of 5 stars is the container. Opening the cap of the bottle is like some sort of puzzle. The plastic circular cap is in two parts that appear to be a single part. I spent some time trying to unscrew the cap parts and it just twirled without any result. Then I thought that it might be a pry-off so I yanked on it to no avail. Even with extensive and loud vile language, I could not get the jug open. Then I thought, to heck with it, Iโll just saw off the top or cut a hole in the clear plastic jug and then sealing it up with some with clear plastic shipping tape. Since the product is branded โ365โ, I would be cursing it 365 days every time I had to retape the jug. Then I noticed that an Amazon.com reviewerโs husband had gotten the lid off with vise grips. (Donโt you just adore the many reviewers who are the spokespersons for their husbands. I often wonder about buying a product based on the recommendation of someone who must employ a mouth piece. Sort of a โon behalf of my clientโ thing. โMy husband really liked these undershorts.โ Huh?). This vise grip mention gave me hope that the jug is openable without slashing a hole in it. My vise grips were not big enough to pry the two lid parts apart, so I got out my favorite old, paint stained screw driver and stuck it between the two lid parts and pried them apart. Up to that point, I didnโt know that the lid had two parts. Now that the lid parts have been parted, the jug can be accessed and reclosed by turning the top part of the lid. I would have had my wife write my review but Iโm not married. I only ask that the previous reviewerโs wife extend my gratitude to her husband on my behalf.

Expeller Pressed Not Chemically Processed, Neutral Flavor, High Smoke Point
Canola oil has been given a bad name but unless you are avoiding seed oils altogether, there's no issue with canola as long as it's not been processed with chemicals (which is true for ALL oils). Cold pressed and expeller pressed oils are better than chemical processed oils, no matter what source the oil is from and depending on your needs. I wanted a neutral oil for making mayo and one with a high smoke point for frying. This oil fits my needs. The taste is neutral, and there's a good amount for the price.
