I have a 40x40x18 tall building. how many lights do i need and what would be the best orientaion with the lights. i am using barrina shop light 200w

The building we have is 40x60x20. We only used 5 because of our layout with a mezzanine. Very bright lights. You probably would need 4

I have outlets in ceiling, any reason I couldn’t use an extension cord to make the connection versus running new wiring?

I have 6 as well but I don’t have a dimmer I am turning some off as needed . They draw over 12amp together make sure a dimmer can handle that

Voltage says 100-277. Can these be wired for 220 v? If so is there a wiring diagram?

It looks like they can be wired for 220, but I am not sure. I do not have, and don't think a wiring diagram came with my lights. the wire and plug looks like 110 size. Sorry I could not be more helpfull.
