The media could not be loaded. I adore this silk bonnet. I chose this because I’ve read 22-mommy is ideal for hair health and preventing friction. It’s definitely authentic silk and it has a little weight to it, so it seems like it will last and not wear out easily. But it’s not heavy or too hot. It feels luxurious and special. I would even gift this to someone because it’s so nice. I’m using this to protect my hair at night, even though I sleep on silk pillowcases. I haven’t had any issues with it slipping off like other reviewers mentioned. The bands are soft/stretchy and there is some light elastic in the back. It’s comfortable to wear. My shoulder length curly hair fits inside with ease. If you have extremely thick or waist length hair or braids, I’m not sure if all of it would fit inside. I would consider this to be a “normal” size, not a jumbo/xl sized bonnet. I just hope my hair still fits inside when it reaches waist length again. Because right now, it’s perfect, not too big or too small, I’ll update in 2-4 years from now if anything changes. If your hair is a bit longer than mine, I still think you’d be able to wear this. I was able to get a good deal on this and I’m so happy with my purchase. If you’re looking to upgrade from a satin bonnet, get this.

I have to give a shout out to this bonnet. I can’t tell you how many I’ve tried that do not stay on my head. This one does. It hasn’t fallen off yet. I’m planning on buying another one. The only thing I don’t know yet is how it holds up in the wash. I’m washing it now and will update if there are any problems. I have shoulder length, low density hair. So I do not have a lot of hair. This bonnet is not very big, and it’s not too small. It’s the perfect size for my head and hair.

The silk is good but the fit is uncomfortable. It sits very low on the forehead, and the ties are super long. If you tie them in the back, you’ll get a knot at the base of your skull with results in headache. If you turn it around and tie it up at the top of your hairline, you’ll get a floppy mess covering your eyes. Sometimes I’ll just pull it down over my eyes and go to sleep. It’s uncomfortable no matter how you tie it.

I wish I bought this a long time ago. It made such a huge difference in my hair immediately. I stopped using it for a week and my hair was really dry. I started wearing it again and my hair literally feels like silk. It’s pretty comfortable and in the morning I put the bonnet over my eyes so it doubles as a sleeping mask too :)

This is the perfect silk bonnet. I love how comfortable it is to wear and put on. It holds all of my hair, rollers, and overnight curls with zero issue. The tie at the back is so easy to use and comfortable. I have seen a noticeable difference in my hair frizz since using it as well. It’s hand wash only, which makes sense since it is silk.

I bought this because some people in the review raved about how nice it is to have the actual silk swatch included for the burn test. Yes - that's nice. However, the fabric used for the actual product felt different and even the color was slightly off from the swatch. I was 99% sure it's not made with real silk. Only the 1"×1" swatch included seems to be the real silk. Although it may still be okay even if it's not real silk, I returned it because I didn't want to buy anything from a company that lies and cheats.
