Loud and easy to wire!
I really need to find louder horns, but that is more because of the car these are on then it is the horns. I installed them on a 1967 Mustang I purchased that didn't have any horns. As long as the car is off these horns are LOUD!!! Unfortunately for me, the car is louder. lol

Big Upgrade Over Factory Horns
The factor horns on my car sounded sad. These horns were inexpensive, easy to install, are louder, and sound much better. Don't over think it, just get these.

Worse fine. But will need to make ground wires
Not as loud as I would of hoped but I didnt check Db either. Deffinatly louder than stock. Will make your car sound like an old Volvo horn or a Mercedes as someone else has posted. Where ever someone said there is no + or - side is wrong. There is a + terminal. So if they dont work at first flip wires. No need for a power supply from battery. Will work right off stock wires if you cut the connectors and crimp on female blade terminal connectors. Fits great. And looks great. Installed on a 2006 subaru baja.

Better than the standard Toyota horn
Better than the standard Toyota horn, easy to install (additional adapter used). Not as loud as I hoped but an improvement.

Comical
Sound a bit like a choking duck. Not particularly loud either.

Excellent replacement horn
Excellent horn. Tremendous noise but not insane (if you want an insane horn there are options out there). Replaced in a RAV4 where the original horn sounds like seriously from a clown car. This makes the point you are trying to make. Paid my mechanic to install it, he was done in an hour.

They Look Great But Sound VERY INFERIOR
The volume and pitch of these really suck and are NOTHING compared to the stock horns on my Hawkeye Subaru Impreza wagon. Completely inadequate. Sure they look good in yellow but now it is super embarrassing to sound the horn. Quite disappointing having to pull the front bumper cover off now and re-install the original horns.

Extremely loud, great upgrade from stock!
Hella makes great replacement horns. This is the second set that I have bought over the last decade, and critically, the easiest to install because of the lower amperage requirements of the SharpTones over the larger / louder SuperTones. FOR YOU DIYers who are looking to install these without a relay, as long as your horn circuit is 10 AMP or higher, you should be OK. For whatever reason Hella doesn't think that the draw of these units is worth putting on their website, but per the side of the carton, each SharpTone horn draws 42 watts at 12 volts, which equals 3.5 Amps ( A = W / V). So the pair of these horns as installed draws 7A, under the threshold of many (not all) modern car horn circuits.
