If it is real copper than it is totally doing what it is supposed to do. I believe it is.

Excellent quality and good value for money. Other market alternatives are far lighter, thinner and weaker. This one is heavier and feels sturdier, which was a major requirement. No leakage as such. Really good construction overall.

I bought this copper bottle hoping for a quality product, but I’m disappointed. I’m not sure if it’s even 100% copper, and after a few days, the lid thread started to misalign. Now the cap doesn’t close properly, making it impossible to carry the bottle without spilling. Unfortunately, I cannot recommend this product.

No doubt quality is very good, better than most of the copper bottles available online. But after using for some weeks now the bottle cap does not close tight, now I can't carry it. That's sad. 😢 Please zandu consider this if you can do something.
