Q: When you open the unit to flip your food does the machine pause the cooking or do I after reset everything after I close the lid and start over

When the lid is open for flipping (or adding ingredients), the AirGO 360 displays "Lid" reminder, stop the upper heating element and the fan for safety, but the base heating plate continues heating to maintain the cooking temperature. Also the count-down clock continues in the background. Therefore, when you close the lid, AirGO will just simply resumes the remaining cooking program.

Q: What is the quart size of this product? Want to see if i can make large amounts of food at one time to make meal prepping easier.

The cooking capacity is approximately US 4 qts or 4 L. This is usually large enough to cooking for 3-4 people. The ceramic coated non-stick cooking pan can actually hold more than 4 qts/4L of food, however, the cooking result may vary. You may experiment with it. The cooking pan has a diameter of 11" and depth of 2".

Q: Is the stirrer made of plastic? Is the lid removable and dishwasher safe? How good is the oven function if air can leak out of the whole in the lid?

The stirring paddle is made of FDA certified PPA for use with food. It is designed to withstand the high temperature environment inside the AirGO cooking appliance. The glass lid is part of the top assembly and it is not removable. However, it can be easily cleaned by wiping with paper towels. The vent hole on the lid allows excessive moisture to escape. It does not affect the baking results when used as mini-oven. In fact, conventional ovens also have vent holes, usually hidden under the control panel or near one of the heating elements.
