Gillette Foamy Classic Shave Foam for Men, Protection Against Shaving Irritation, Quick and Smooth Shave, shaving cream, 14.9 Oz

You don't see these huge 14.9 oz cans in stores much anymore, so the value here is great. It’s the same classic Gillette foam I’ve used for years; thick, easy to spread, and does exactly what it's supposed to do for a smooth shave without any irritation. The best part, though, is the scent. It has that nostalgic, "barbershop" smell that takes me right back to the 80s. It smells remarkably like the old-school Old Spice Classic cologne; the kind that came in the buoy-shaped glass bottles. If you grew up with that scent around the house, you’ll know exactly what I mean. It’s a nice, masculine fragrance that doesn't feel chemically or overpowering.

I use shaving cream for so many things and this is so foamy and works quite well. I clean my bathroom and almost anything that needs cleaning. Good product.

Many years ago Gillette Foamy Shave Foam was my favorite go to shave cream. Somewhere the company changed the scent to a stronger cologne smell. I didn't like it but I guessed it was an attempt to grab a younger buyer. But this seems to be a return to the older classic scent which is best described as very light clean scent which some have described as a hint of Old Spice. I do love the classic scent! It's a good creamy foam so I'd definitely buy this classic shave foam again.

Best value after all these years. The two pack was the cheapest thing going out there with a trusted name. I get a lot of use out of one can. I think other companies the can stays the same size with less product in it lately. I like the way it foams up and It has no smell.

Standard shaving cream, feels and smells good and was a good price for a large can which will last me a long time. I would purchase again.

Great value, after 45 years of shaving Foamy surpasses all the other more expensive ones, including gels, creams, soaps, etc. Large can lasts for months. Tip: Hold the can upright when dispensing to ensure no waste.

This stuff is just easy, puffs up nice, razor glides smooth, and my skin doesn’t feel wrecked after. AND it works reallly well. I have insanely dry skin and i always bought "sensitive" or "female" branded creams, but this literally works just the same so WIN! + HOW do YA beat that price!?

I came across an article about ‘Tips for Household Cleaning,’ in particular for spot cleaning Rugs. Yes, this is a review about Gillette Shaving Foam. .As with any cleaner, the article suggested doing a “spot test” first, somewhere where if a negative colour change occurred, it was not obvious. What struck me the strangest was the Spot Cleaner recommended was….Men’s Gillette Foam Shaving Cream (Foam). Not the “Gel” kind. The cheaper, high foaming regular one in the Orange & Black can. “Shaving Cream?? Seriously?” was my first response. In part of the house was a very light coloured white wool carpet with a hint of taupe-grey hue. Needless to say despite keeping immaculate care over the years, a white cool carpet still began to looking dingy and spots began appearing from underneath the actual carpet. For the heck of it, while shopping one day I came across the recommended Gillette Foam Shaving Cream. It twigged my memory so I purchased a can for a Trial. To my utter shock, it removed more stains and dirt than any expensive rug cleaner or treatment. Believe me, I purchased & tested more types of cleaners than fingers & toes combined. The Gillette foam was the clear winner. It even removed stains that has been there for awhile. Of course there were other stains that nothing could remove. Overall though, this was a household hack really worked. My husband thought I was losing my marbles when he walked in & saw me with a can of Shaving Foam on my knees rubbing on the carpet, until he saw the end results. I ordered more cans from Amazon. We all know how the edge of a carpeted step can get so dirty. I caught Hubbie with a Can of shaving foam, a wet cloth & good quality brush going at it a couple days later. He gave it a decent brushing until the foam was worked into the fibres well, then either blotted the water with a thick towel or sucked it out by the rug cleaner that has a step cleaning hose. Once dried there was a significant difference in the amount of dirt removed. It looked much cleaner. The only downside was the place smelled like a Barber shop for about three days. I really did not expect this hack to work as well as it did. And who thought of using Gillette Shaving Foam on a carpet in the first place??After the rug was thoroughly dry and was vacuumed to lift the fibres, the rug looked much brighter, with many darker areas where the walkway paths become, much of it removed. Not all could be to the exact shade as when installed new. That just would not be realistic. Definitely there was a noticeable cleaner carpet. I am now deciding how many cans will be needed to clean and freshen all the stairs. This is just being used as an Intermediary step before either selling the property or doing a complete renovation. While we make that decision, it is looking so much better! If you are going to try it, just remember… it the Shaving Foam NOT the Gel!

I bought this to use in the bathroom to get rid of urine smells around toilet. It definately worked although I used only a little bit it sure is foamy and I used way less in my second bathroom. Nice scent. Definately nice and foamy! !
