ThinOpticsFlashcard Case + Rectangular Reading Glasses

Very clever design and high quality. Great idea!
I have only had these for a few days, but so far I love them. The metal case seems very well made and is such a clever design. Very convenient (just a little thicker than a credit card) and definitely will keep the glasses protected when not in use. The glasses fit, stay on my nose, are light weight, comfortable, and magnify just as expected. I chose the clear frame option and they are hardly even noticeable when I'm wearing them. They don't look silly at all. I have broken other reading glasses by putting them in a jacket pocket and forgetting they were there. This seems like the perfect solution for always having reading glasses safe and handy, yet inconspicuous.

Surpisingly Good
I bought these as contingency for my $200 varifocals, and as a more portable set of specs compared to full sized glasses. In the past, I bought a spare pair, or took advantage of of 2 for 1, but I eventually lost all the spares. These glasses are amazing. They stick comfortably to your nose, even with a bit of head shake. If you use varifocals, you will be used to moving your head/eyes to focus on near or distant objects, and if you do the same with these, you'll notice little difference in your vision. For example, I am now typing this on my laptop, whilst glancing at the TV a few metres away and it seems quite natural. They seem a little flimsy, but so do space age titanium wire frame glasses, and I would not wear them for an extended period. But they're perfect for taking with you on a sunny day when you're in your shorts, wearing sunglasses and don't want to look "excited" by the bulge of regular spectacles in your pocket. You may be worried about if these stick to your nose. But they will. They have an ingenious flexible grip which also acts as a shock absorber, so you have to make extreme movements for them to fall off.I wish I had learned about these years ago...

Where's the money clip part?
Product has the slot and the description says 'The ThinOptics Flashcard Wallet is a revolutionary advancement in the consolidation of your essentials, bringing together your credit cards, cash, ID, and ThinOptics Readers in a durable and compact case that's Always With You.' Meaning you can clip your cc's, cash, and ID to it.

Great size for everyday minimalist carry.
Few years ago I moved from the thick tri fold wallet to a minimalist one. One of the things I could not over come was my failing eye site and the need to carry reading glasses which just added the bulk I lost with my wallet and shifted it to my front pocket for my glass case. Then I found the key fob version of the thinoptics which I have been using for the past year. They were perfect for reducing the bulk and for the moments when I needed to read something. Well as luck would have it I broke the key-fob case and needed a replacement. I found this credit card case and it is near perfect for my needs. while a little thicker than I expected (it is the thickness of 4 credit cards I had read that 2) it fits my Ridge wallet perfectly. If I had a complaint about the case for the glass case that is that they used a rubberized type of coating on one side of the case which makes it drag when removing / inserting into the wallet. As for the glasses, I can read menus, labels on bottles, the fine print on papers, with them without being burdened by a full size set of readers. But understand that these are not replacements for the full size versions that I have sitting on my desk, they are supplements for away from home or the office. I find them comfortable for short stints of use but not for all day which the full size ones are good for.

Excellent Reading Glasses, Impractical Longevity
It does its job as a pair of reading glasses and it is extremely compact and thin and easy to store anywhere on your clothing. Cool design but it does not grip/hold as well as I thought it would be, especially if the nose is sweaty or oily. Most of the time it is fidgety. By day three, the glass had a few scratches on it so quality wise, it is average.

Worth every penny!
I cannot say anything negative about these readers other than maybe the 2.0's I bought feel more like the 1.75's I've been wearing for a long time now?? These are amazing! They're lightweight, they DO stay on your nose and they're functional, period, end of story. Yes, a bit pricey for off the shelf readers, but again, they're sturdy, look good and they work! Highly recommend!9/30/20 - update - these glasses are still rockin' it! Love them more each time I wear them. Don't hesitate to pick up a pair. I keep these attached to my keychain and as a guy, no, they're not uncomfortable keeping them in my front pocket with the holder attached to the keychain.

Poor quality
I have only had these glasses a little under 2 months and very rarely have used them, maybe twice. There have been a few occasions where the glasses simply fall out of the case. I got the case out of my purse tonight, and the glasses are gone. I guess the glasses fell out at one of the times I got the key chain from my purse. Anyway, I am very disappointed in this product and do not recommend these. I basically threw money away and am not able to return because it's a week past the return date. Very disappointed
