Buy this first! Great info for momma and baby!
Loveeee this book. If you’re interested in actual food science and not what the marketing world tells you is healthy, this is a great place to start! There’s building blocks to child nutrition and then references to other books and recipes. Buy this first and go from there! The rest of the Amazon search is daunting, ignore it for now until you read this and have a better idea of what you’re looking for. It’s surprising how off the rails the usual American diet is and how easy it is to start your kids off on the right foot. Even if you don’t agree with everything included, its certainly better than going off of pretty good labels and fast food marketing. It’s also got great info for nursing mothers, pregnancy, and formula recipes.

Great way to nourish you and baby!
I wish I knew this book when I had my first and second babies. My third one is lucky that I have found this on time before he began solids. If you do care about what you put in your body, then this book is for you. If you are someone who don't think food as a source of medicine, then please don't bother buying this.

BEST, most comprehensive info about Baby Nutrition. BUY THIS & FOLLOW ITS GUIDELINES!
BUY THIS & FOLLOW ITS GUIDELINES!When purchasing this, I also ordered the baby led weaning guide and cookbook. I plan to follow the guidelines on this book. It is comprehensive, backed by research, and in-line with babies digestive and nutritional needs. Before reading this, I had started introducing foods via baby-led weaning suggestions to my 4.5 month old baby. We experienced undigested foods in her stools and an intolerance to bananas. Her digestive system is not yet ready for specific solids. I am certainly intimidated by the prospect of learning how to meet the nutritional needs of my infant babies, this book will help me overcome obstacles so my child build a healthy immune system.

Amazing Recipes for brain development
I absolutely love this book! I already follow the Weston A. Price Foundation as a model for eating and properly preparing grains, nuts, seeds, etc and this book does exactly that while providing the best recipes for each stage of growth from baby to toddlerhood. I wish this book was given to all new parents. The reason babies needs solids at 6 months is because the need for iron and zinc becomes much higher than what breastmilk/formula can provide. It makes the most sense that first foods should be meaty minerals which is what this book prioritizes. I just wish I could have a way to ask questions about the recipes. There is one recipe that I just can’t get right and I would love some feedback.

Great book for nutrition
This is a really good book for first time parents. They are foods in my culture that are given to babies as first foods which i have just realised are actually bad. Thanks on behalf of my baby twins.

Excellent book
Everything what you need to know how to feed child. A lot of knowledge and quite many recipes. I feel sorry I didn't have it with my first child. She would not have any health problems, especially with stomach.

Alles was man wissen muss wenn man sein Baby optimal ernähren möchte.
Sehr detaillierte Informationen. Viel Hintergrundwissen!Auch viele Rezepte. Leider alles in Englisch und für mich mühsam zu lesen. Habe leider keine deutsche Übersetzung gefunden.

Not based in real science, maybe ask your doc. instead
Thought this might be based more in legitimate science. It keeps pushing that vaccines cause autism (no real evidence for this). I thought it might just have that opinion and maybe I could leave that but take some based-in-fact and well-researched advice, this was not the case. This absurd claim is one of the underpinning arguments and approaches to nutrition in the book. I can't trust the conclusions of this book as it is not based in real science and wants to push this crap ideology. It also blames ADD/ADHD on diet as well, but cites no studies, (just trust me, bro). It makes wild claims that more diseases are present today than in history (no sources), this is a bit odd to claim as some of the ailments it lists were not known in the time period, and the claims on allergies increasing doesn't account for industrial farming change/progress and climate changing overtime. Oh and that many allergies were often not take seriously depending on the person. One last things, it insinuates in the forward that people in the US spend so much on health care but are still so unhealthy, this is due to diet.....it completely ignores tht high medical costs in the US are because of greed and bad politics, not diet. I honestly should have known then it was dubious at best. Also if you made it this far: be excellent to each other and party on dudes.
