I just realized this because I ran out of the toothpaste I'd switched to and bought a normal one because they don't sell the SLS-free kind in my neighborhood and I was like it probably doesn't matter anyway. Wrong. I just brushed my teeth and only a few minutes later I looked in the mirror and noticed that my lips were a peeling disaster out of nowhere. Put on some of this lip balm and they are feeling a lot better already. But I thought I'd post this here since I'm guessing that most people considering fancy lip balms might also benefit from switching to SLS-free toothpaste. If anyone is interested, the toothpaste I'd switched to (and will switch back to ASAP) was Sensodyne Pronamel and the CVS brand knock off of it. I think I didn't realize when I switched that it made such a big difference because it was over the summer when I generally have much less of a problem with lip hydration anyway. Anyhow, I still recommend this lip balm very highly and if you have a serious problem with dry lips and aren't already using SLS-free toothpaste, definitely give it a try!
