I have a soft spot for cards. I have a quite a few decks and one (or more sometimes) of a few things are almost always true: The box is nicer than the deck. The cards are an afterthought. There isn't much difference except for the backs. The art, if there even is any, is lazy. While "the box being nicer than the deck" still somewhat holds true; it's only because the box is such an immaculate piece in and of itself. Seriously. I don't think it would be physically possible to make cards to match the box AND retain functionality. The cards themselves are wonderful, though. This deck, yes; but, every single other one I've bought as well. As someone whose nicest set of cards was Bicycle for a long time; these cards have made quite the impression. Still, as a Batman fan, these cards hold a special place in my collection. While the artwork is hit and miss with me, it's largely because I disagree with certain selections for the face cards. They manipulate beautifully, have tons of detail, and just feel so good in the hands. I'm not sure if I'm ever going to be able to go back to some of my other decks. They cost more, but you see and feel every extra cent.

Cards are very well detailed and I love all the designs! I wish they kept each suit to one generation of Batman, like all the hearts from the Adam west series but I can complain since I each the nostalgia from all of them.
