flexible, thin, and useful
to b fair I bought a 2 pack of these kind of cutting boards years ago. everyday I cut up potatoes to put in my instant pot and I like to use a cutting board to do so. I have a thick hard plastic cutting board and I can only find 1 of the 2 flexible ones. I prefer the flexible 1 bc it doesn't take up to much room in my cabinet and it kinda bends up on the top shelf of my dishwasher (unlike the mammoth hard plastic board.). this being said... I bought more! I like that they r colored some people can't have meat and cheese touch the same space so the colors help with that. me I just think they look and feel good. broke 1 out yesterday for mashed potatoes and I was just as impressed. they will scratch over time, but so do all cutting boards. and u get 6 in the package. what a deal!!! im not sure if they can go on the bottom rack of the dishwasher but I have 6 so if I damage 1, I still have 5 brand new ones. and bc u get 6 if u need to use the cutting board for something else and u dont want to waste ur money on water and electricity to warm that water... u just grab another 1. I hope this was helpful.whats great:flexiblecolor coatedthindishwasher safeinexpensivewould I buy it again? YESupdate: I put it on the bottom rack of the dishwasher and it came out fine. it was a little bent, but that's fine with me.

Using for Templates
I did not purchase these to use as cutting boards. I bought them to make sewing pattern templates. Paper templates are not the most stable or durable, so these cutting boards work well to provide a sturdier template for tracing and cutting patterns.I use these for bag and pouch patterns, so the size is perfect for that. So far I've cut out 3 patterns, and I'm very happy with them. They are a bit difficult to cut since they are pretty stiff, but that's a good thing since you want them to be sturdy and hold up over time.I've never used this type of cutting mat for cutting items, but I do think they would work fine for that purpose as well. I personally would still stick with normal cutting boards though, because I'm pretty sure you'd need to replace these more often than the traditional versions, but they would still do the job.

Replacing My Mom's Cutting Board Inserts
I bought these to replace the mats that came with mom's cutting board inserts (we have the kind of wood board with a lip to take out those mats). They're definitely slightly thinner than the originals, but I don't feel that will be any issue. My cutting board came with curved edges, and these are pretty squared, so i took some scissors to them, and they work great.Mom seems happy (which is rarely ever easy) but we just got them, so I don't have any actual info on durability.Colors are really pretty! And just see through enough to see the wood grain under, instead of blocking it completely.

Depends on your purpose, but great value overall.
We go through a lot of cutting boards in my house. Feels like we are forever re-washing the one big one, so I got these. The good: They clean super easily, they double as place mats or drip mats (even for things that aren't food), and they don't melt when you put an oven-hot pizza on them. The not-so-good: They will slip and slide all over if you use them for cutting tough stuff, like breaking down a chicken or cutting through a raw roast. You can mitigate that in various ways, but we just save the real cutting board for that, and use these for pizzas, fruit, veggies, etc... all the other stuff we want to cut that causes us to always need another cutting board. Works out great for us.

It is what it says it is
Not much to say here. I've gotten them from other places before. These are as good as other ones I've used. I'll probably get two years or more usage out of them and then the wear and tear of knife cutting and chopping will start to wear them out. They seem to start to bulge in the middle where the work is done. They could be used much longer. I like them because of the convenience: easy to clean, easy to move around, and flexible. Good price and just as heavy as ones I've paid much more for. Good value in my opinion.

May not hold up very long
I bought these to replace some plastic cutting boards that I've had for YEARS. Unfortunately, I'm not so sure these will last as long. I've been using them for about a month or two and while I haven't cut all the way through any of them, they look pretty well beat up (lots of chop lines). I think they're just a bit thinner than my previous mats. They're fine but you get what you pay for, I guess. They'll do the job until they don't and then I'll just toss them. Nice colors, though. I will say that.

Exactly as advertised.
I love having flexible cutting boards. They make meal prep very easy. They are thick enough to protect the surface below from knives. They are colorful, which is fun and aesthetic in my kitchen. You can designate a color for cutting meats vs. vegetables if you want to avoid any cross contamination. I like having a lot of cutting mats for when I have several people helping with food such as yesterday when we were cutting up apples to cook for making apple sauce.
