I purchased this as a Christmas gift for my grandson, and while it works well for bedtime baths, there are a few things to note. I used to use this on my children about 20 years ago and I loved it for the calm soothing lavender scent now I’m using it for my very hypoallergenic 70 pound pitbull that has severe skin allergies. We have tried many dog shampoos, but we found that they often had a horrible smell or no smell whatsoever so I thought this would be a great way to bathe him. Avoid tears avoid any skin sensitivities and possibly great smell unfortunately over the years I guess they have reformulated it and honestly, I don’t smell that beautiful lavender smell. I used to many years ago when I bathe my children I will still continue to use it because I like the fact that it’s zero tears I can wash my dogs head with it without jeopardizing his eyes and that it is hypoallergenic for his skin I just wished it had more of a scent.
