Pretty but quite itchy and one skein was only enough for a simple beanie for an older child. At this price I was hoping for something a bit softer. As is, I wouldn’t wear it next to my skin.

The picture shows a bright red, but its not! And the size? Pic is worth a thousand words!

This is great yarn. I was worried based on other reviews. For wool yarn, the amount is as expected and described - this isn't budget yarn from a super-store. It's got a great feel to it. It's warm and light weight, soft for wool, and I put 13 skeins into balls to prepare for crocheting and only had one small snag of bunched wool - no breaks in any of them. I will be buying more for my next project.

I was very disappointed that this yarn was much smaller than a standard skein of yarn. I thought I was getting a bigger skein, given the way it was pictured, but it turned out to be half the size of what I expected. The yarn itself is nice, but it was only enough to make one small mitten or half a hat.

Yarn is already on the needles. Nice and thick and squishy. I’m making a cabled hat for one of my sons. So far I’m loving it. Great stitch definition and no splitting. ❤️

I made my daughter a baby blanket. The yarn is wonderful to work with, so soft. The consistency is very good. In real wool you can find inconsistencies of color and thickness. This wool was done right! I will buy it again when the next baby comes!

I was happy to find this pretty blue yarn on Amazon, and was so pleasantly surprised by how soft it feels! I'm learning how to knit a scarf with this yarn, and I can't wait for the finished product! I'll enjoy wearing this pretty colored yarn around my neck!

This yarn knits up nicely, no splitting and good texture and the price is really good for 100 % wool. This is a 50 g ball which equals 1.75 oz. Works out great for me since I'm making skirty soakers. One ball (color) for soaker pants another for the attached skirty.
