The Artisan's Book of Fetishcraft: Patterns and Instructions for Creating Professional Fetishwear, Restraints and Sensory Equipment

Good, but could be much better
It's... Okay. A few of the diagrams are not really necessarily kink related (such as the kimono and tabi- I would have preferred some additional restraints in their place). It's also weirdly and unnecessarily gendered at parts- I'm not sure why the author felt the need to distinguish between male and female masks, for example. The "pleasure" section is almost entirely for people with penises. There's also a bit of weird pseudo mysticism that I found off-putting. However, the info on pattern drafting is informative, and the instructions seem clear and generally easy to follow. All in all, a unique book with useful information that could have benefitted from another editor.

VERY Disappointing. NOT Recommended.
This book is so poorly written, I am surprised it found a publisher. This book should have ONE focus - to teach the reader how to construct Fetish gear. The Author indulges himself in subjects which have absolutely nothing to do with fetish crafting. Most annoying is the libetal dose of Ancient Egyptian Nonsense which ot totally put of place in a book of this type. There are also instructions, poorly written on how to make a Japanese, kimono. Readers are also subjected to instructions on how to sew the traditional Japanese socks which are worn with sandals. It is only wjen you get to page 51 that the author even starts mentioning Leather items. The patterns are absurdly illustraited. Instrictions are prerty much impossible to follow. The finished designs look dreadful and amateurish.Don't waste your money on this muddled mess.

A good book on an esoteric subject.
Some of the patterns are better detailed than others. I would have liked more detail on everything. However, I have found no other book on this subject, so it is a most welcome addition.

Don't get the kindle version
Kindle version of this book is horrible. Images do not scale so the patterns are pretty much useless. Images of the pattern are ridiculously tiny and when you try to zoom in they become blurry to the point they are illegible. Wasted and hour trying to figure a work around with no use. Probably more Amazon's fault than authors.
