I had a LOT of trouble finding an oil based food coloring that didn't break the bank!! This one is pretty awesome! They came very well sealed. Just make sure you shake the SNOT out of them first!! If not, they kind of settle a bit and what's right on top is VERY watery. I shook them like I was trying to get the last little bit of conditioner out of the bottle. You can feel the texture change as your shaking it. After I shook the ba-geezus out of it, I squeezed out the amount I needed and the liquid was nice and thick! EXACTLY what I expected out of an oil based gel. I have not had the opportunity to use them with chocolate yet, but I did use them to color sugar as a decorative element. Let me tell you! They are AMAZING!! They're pretty vibrant IF you use the correct amount!! I used like 2 or 3 drops for 1/4 cup of sugar and didn't get the exact color I wanted, so I added 1-2 more drops and it was PERFECT! If you use these to color sugar, you WILL NEED to dry the sugar back out, unless your want more of a damp sandy texture. BUT!! When I dried my sugar back out, the colors became WAY more vibrant!! Also, I didn't need to shake them quite as aggressively the second time I used them. I feel like if they sit for a while, you'll need to shake them like crazy. If you use them, then come back a few days later, you still need to shake them, but I didn't need to shake them as aggressively.

These colors were made with just a few drops of the food coloring. Beautiful colors! Easy to mix and blend. Did not stain.

I used more coloring than I expected but it was my first time with oil based dye. Turned out well; didn’t change the taste. I recommend and would purchase again. Also, I did mix a few colors to make a more muted orange and they mix well.

I used white almond bark and it worked just fine! I didn't have seizing happening to the chocolate so I can't complain! The bottles are about as big as the little bottles you'd get at Michael's, the variety of color is helpful. Using the teal, blue, black and green I was able to achieve this color. The overall taste wasn't affected by the dye (I had to use quite a bit of dye to get my desired color) it did stain the tongue/teeth just a little bit but not enough to last long. I also used it for buttercream and that worked even better than the chocolate! You could taste the dye a bit more with the buttercream but it wasn't to the point that some store bought frosted cakes do. I have plenty of dye left in each of the colors I used as well so I say it's a win. Had I needed a single color I might have had to use almost the whole bottle, but for this one I had to combine colors so it was a win for me! My package wasn't broken or messed up, no bottles leaked, all were sealed and the box was in good condition. It also comes with a set of disposable gloves if you don't want to dye your hands. If your worried about it seizing because the ingredients wouldn't work with chocolate (you want to see oil or alcohol) you'll be surprised. When I first received the box I was so nervous when I saw it had Glycerol, I thought I'd been duped. But to my surprise it worked out! So I would definitely give this brand a chance and put your mind to ease.

The product works overall great for what I needed it for. I needed this oil based coloring for my dipping white chocolate. Colors are good, though when I needed to make a bright red or bright green I needed alot of the product verses just a few drops. The bottles are tiny so I probably used half the bottle to achieve a bright red/green. It did not change the flavor of my chocolate. Wish for the price the bottles were bigger.

Half the bottles were full with food coloring, others were Empty as if they had been used. Packaging was unopened when it arrived so it was very disappointing I ended up paying full price for half the products. It was very thick and the colors were off as well.

Great food colouring set. Great colours and a little goes a long way! Worth it, will buy again. Great for colouring chocolate.

Its the kind of food coloring i need! Works best on candy melts!

At first, this seemed like a more affordable dupe for Colour Mill. The colours WERE very vibrant (hence the extra star) but at the expense of taste. There was a noticeable bitter, chemical taste to my buttercream, to the point where i could not use it. Unfortunately, this being a food product, i cannot return it. So, i'm out the cost of the product & the ingredients & time making buttercream i could not use.
