No its not, it doesn't create a tight enough seal round the edge so bugs can get under it very easily

Q: how does this fit a Moses basket? Are there elastic bands to tighten the grip on the edges ?

I returned mine as the fit on my standard moses basket was quite bad. It also sagged a bit as well so thought it wasn't very safe

No not really cat still can jump on it as net cover is only light material kept bee fly butterflies moth etc out! I use it for cover pram while out for a walk, garden, beach, wood, etc
