PERFECT FOR THE ELDERLY
This cane provides a seat which easily folds out when needed. This capability is especially needed by the elderly. The elderly, when on a trip, a cruise or even on a jaunt to the local supermarket will frequently need to rest a few minutes from time to time. The many ailments of this group range from worn out knees or back problems to heart ailments. There are seldom seats available when and where they are needed. This cane is perfect for this need. It provide a good cane for walking and an excellent seat for resting. The seat is supported by a tripod, which is stable when used properly with the person facing the longer hand holding portion of the cane.

Just what I needed
I had knee surgery but had to work at a sporting event for eight hours straight. I needed a chair but did not want to juggle a cane and a chair. This was perfect. Easy to set up and easy to fold away. The seat portion did not get in the way when using as a cane. Chair can handle at least 300 pounds. My only negative is that you are supposed to straddle the seat to sit down and stand up. That was not practical. I say in its "backwards" and as long as I leaned forward a bit there was no stability problem.

This is the second "cane seat" that I have owned...
The first one, used for about 6 years, has a smaller seat and I determined that the larger seat would be more comfortable. I received the product yesterday and it appears to be a sturdy version. Like others, my only concern is the difficulty in opening and closing it. It is a bit stiff, but certainly doable. It is definitely heavier then the smaller version, but not excessively so. Mine came with instructions in English. I really like that it has an adjustable height. This makes it much more comfortable in that you can custom shorten or lengthen the legs. The flashlight seems cheap and unnecessary, but I'm glad I have the option to leave it off and will do so. It came with hardware to mount the flashlight and one additional rubber cap. WARNING: All of these type seats can be somewhat unstable if they are not cautiously used. Use Extreme Caution when sitting down and standing up. For anyone with back or leg issues, it is an absolutely wonderful product to use, if you use it carefully.

flashlight bracket wrong--not a seat cover---UPDATE 5/12/22
the bracket sent for the flashlight holds it in the wrong direction--it points the flashlight up or down--NOT forward where you are walking! Cheap flashlight too, without batteries. The chair itself is fine, and sturdy--but I paid the extra for the flashlight. Should have gotten the one with the flashlight IN the handle itself, but this one had the sturdier looking legs. Also--the seat "cover" it shows is NOT what comes with it--not a plush red cover, but a cheap stick-on piece of foam. If it breaks or wears off, you'll be left with a sticky mess. Just don't put it on. And, although the piece of paper that came with it explained the parts in English, it is not an instruction manual--no directions on how to assemble or put on the flashlight. UPDATE---Apparently the seller has already gone back to the fluffy red cover--awaiting mine now. Also--the flashlight bracket actually swivels--NOT something you see at all, as it does look like one solid piece. Seller did contact me to tell me that. Hopefully this fact will be added to the instructions. :-)

Easy to use
I took this on a trip to Kentucky. I did a lot of walking. This was so great to have. I don’t normally use a cane, but it definitely came in handy. The best feature is the seat. When I got too tired or was standing in long lines, I folded down the seat and had a rest. Make sure you tighten all the screws/nuts before using. It does arrive assembled, but the screws will need to be tightened. No tools or instructions are included, so you will need a wrench/pliers and Phillips screwdriver. The seat screw will need a specialty bit to tighten, but this is usually included in any basic bit kit. The seat leg has an extra piece that just slides in place. All legs are adjustable. The seat snaps in place when not in use. It comes with extra rubber feet and an extra locking seat mechanism. I am a 75 year old woman and had no problem getting this ready to use. Despite having to tighten things with my own tools, I highly recommend it.

Saved by my cane.
I am partially blind in my left eye so my vision is like watching a 3D movie without the glasses. My balance is unsteady on uneven surfaces. I went on a vacation to Colorado where I knew there would be uneven paths and tours where I had to wait while a guide spoke. The cane saved me from falling and greatly aided me in forest rocky uphill paths. I am so thankful it is sturdy. I felt safe. I could have used it standing in line for 7 1/2 hours waiting to get an iPhone 11. I didn’t sit on the floor with others because I didn’t think I could get up. I LOVE THIS CANE.

Great cane chair
I was a bit skeptical when I order this cane chair. I am a big guy with some knee issues so I needed it to be reliable/useful. I was not disappointed. Light weight and sturdy, the chair is all I hoped for> Great price too!
