Excellent skin care oil
Excellent as a skincare oil, but do do a patch test first and don't use more than a few drops on your face - it's supposed to have anti-aging properties and even out skin tone. For very dry skin or on hands, I like to apply this first then top with a hand cream to seal it in, it really helps to soothe and hydrate skin. Add a few drops of essential oil for a luxurious fragrance and to suit your skin type.

Good quality oil.
This is a high quality rose seed oil and comes in a glass bottle with an integral stopper which you fit yourself. I found I had to shake it like crazy to get a couple of drops out, very economical so I took the stopper out and made the holes a little larger, it's a bit better now. I've taken a photo with a few drops on a kitchen towel to show you the colour, don't be alarmed by this, the colour disappears when you use it but if I were you I would be careful about getting it on your clothes. It looks, feels and smells right, I have used rose seed oil for many years and would be happy to use this. It's a carrier oil so can be used straight on the skin and hair, I find it particularly good for my flaky itchy scalp, just a few drops mind you, I have very dry hair so a few drops improves it without going too oily and I find it very soothing. Of course you can mix with a drop of two of your favourite essential oil as it has practically no scent itself, it would spoil the scent of any oil you mixed it with. The price is a bit steep for such a small amount of oil although the quality is good. It may be worthwhile buying a small quantity like this to see if you like it before investing in a larger bottle. I hope my review has helped.

Confused
From the photos of other reviewers, the Rosehip oil should have come in a slightly larger packet with a glass dropper. But mine came in the conventional small packet with only the plastic European dropper. Admittedly, there are two options and Amazon may have chosen the smaller packet for me by chance. Also, the Rosehip that I have smells ever so slightly minty which, if this is indeed a carrier oil, doesn't seem right. All that aside, Greenwood Essential does tend to make good quality oils at reasonable prices. However, their carrier oils all seem rather expensive to me. How can one use a carrier oil in large quantities, as one is supposed to, if they are more expensive than all the others?

Does not smell of anything
Not sure what rosehip oil should smell of but this does not smell of anything. This can not be the makers fault though as I am sure it is exactly what it says it is but rosehip oil is apparently very light in fragrance. Light.. very light smell, almost like a neutral oil.

Great oil. Hydrating and moisturising.
I have quite a collection of essential oils, and premium oils from Greenwood Essential and so far very happy with the quality of the oils. This pure cold-pressed Rose Hip oil from Greenwood Essential is claimed to be 100% pure and natural. It comes in a 15ml amber glass bottle sealed with a stopper upon arrival with a separate pipette applicator. This yellow coloured-oil is non-greasy, very light, and absorbs quickly into the skin. Rosehip oil is rich in Omega 3 which makes it a powerful anti-oxidant and anti-inflammatory properties with many health benefits. It can help adds hydration, soothe, protect and brighten the skin. It also can help treats blemishes. With a low comedogenic rating, meaning it won't clog the pores, perfectly suitable for all types of skin. It can be used alone or mixing it with essential oil for treating skin imperfections such as dryness, scarring, and eczema. As for applying new skincare, it’s always wise to do a patch test on the skin beforehand to see for any adverse reactions. I have used this oil on my face for about two weeks now, it has worked wonderfully, my skin seems smooth and hydrated. Overall, this is a good quality organic cold-pressed Rosehip oil with many health benefits but it can be quite pricey. I guess the high price reflects the quality. I like this oil and most probably will use it as an alternative when my favourite brand isn’t available. Thank you for reading. Hope you have found it helpful.

Gentle scent
I’m trying this out for the first time as a skin improver. It does slightly darken the skin but it does seem to absorb quite quickly leaving a softness. Sll good.

Good but bit expensive for the size
15 ml for £9.99 is expensive even for pure cold pressed rosehip oil. I am trying to stretch the quantity so I add few drops to my regular body lotion.

Nice aroma
Summary Used a few drops in a ultrasonic humidifier and it produces a lovely rich aroma.

I have been using it for a little more than half a month and I like the oil. I use it as a carry oil with yarrow /pom essential oil , mainly to help with some scares on my face. I can already see the color of my scares starting to fade, so it must be good quality Rosehip seed. And it also made my face feels and looks radiant! The reason I gave it four stars instead of five is because of the packaging. I am not complaining about opening the lid and put on the dropper myself, but at least make it easy, or less confusing. I showed in the video how I couldn’t use the dropper because it was tilted, and then I realized that the glass tube was inside, so I had to pulled it out ! Just be aware of it. And another side note, this is a very small bottle of 15 ml, pretty much the same size as most of the regular essential oil. Still it helped my scare, so I do recommend it for skin care.

This oil is wonderful. I absolutely love it and am so happy to have found this company. I will definitely be purchasing more once I run out. I have extremely sensitive skin and make some of my own skin care treatments. I used this oil to make a treatment to help soothe some irritation I had on the skin from some repeated medical procedures. I’ve made this concoction before, but making it this time, with this oil has by far been the most soothing and beneficial. My skin was left very moisturized, with no redness, and after about a week I had a nice glow from the oil. I would definitely recommend this oil if you are looking for a very high quality and pure rosehip oil to add to your beauty or healing regime.

This Greenwood Essential Pure Rosehip Seed Oil comes in a dark bottle and even has a dropper which not all of these oils come with, so that was a nice feature. Rose hip is supposed to help with redness but for some reason my skin doesn’t respond well to rose except for using this brand. For the first time I am able to use rosehip oil and it actually works. It has a lovely consistency and absorbs very quick into my 35 year old combination/dry skin. I have seen a small difference in the redness dissipated and my skin has started to have a nice glow. A little goes a very long way.

I've tried a few oils from this company and they were fine, but this one leaves me wondering about the quality of the rest. I immediately recognized this as chemically extracted rosehip oil because a good pure rosehip oil should be pinkish, not orange/yellow, which this one is. For just over one tenth of an ounce, $10 is an insane price. There is organic cold-pressed pure rosehip oil that's that much for 4 ounces, so in no way could I recommend this product to anyone. Poor quality overpriced cash grab.
