Past the guardians (what, did you think Guts would fail destroying some scarecrows) Elfheim is a place of peace. Of joy. There's no sense of impending danger. No sense of violence.It is utterly unlike anything else anywhere in the world. Miura has captured the chaos and whimsy of the elf. There are so many character designs. So many fairies running around. It's amazing to see. His art is detailed and beautiful.And at the end, we venture into Casca's mind. All I can say, I want part 40.This is an amazing volume of BERSERK. It was worth the years waiting for the story to progress this far. I don't know where it is going, but it is impressive. Miura has created something special with BERSERK. Fans of fantasy need to read this!

This is manga's best of the best! Berserk is king. And the journey to try to restore Casca continues as good as ever! And it only gets better after this volume. Keep reading!

Got this in memory of one of the greatest mangaka that has ever existed: Kentaro Miura. This manga arrived in the best condition and arrived early as well! I definitely recommend the manga and this seller as well!

I have every single volume of this collection and it only gets better. This is by far the best manga/anime that I have ever had the pleasure of reading. It’s not the cute girly crap that mainly comes out of Japan these days. These books have real character development and you learn to feel for each of them. Plus the art style and attention to detail just blows anything else out of the water. You need to buy this. Kentaro Miura is a god.

It's a great story so far and the artwork actually gets better as the volumes go up. If you haven't seen or read Berserk yet, you should. It's a very entertaining read although the volumes come out very slowly. You have 40 of them for now, so that's good reading.

The series is fantastic. This chapter is no exception. You can't beat Berserk for Manga. I've read the whole thing.

Berserk will always be my number 1 manga or anime. Nothing else has come close to it. The overall story, the character development. I MUST see this story through. Looks like we might be moving toward Casca getting her memory back! Both excited and nervous to see how this plays out.

It's good. Beautiful art, and a touching story continuation for Berserk fans. Seems saccharine at first and frankly is, however we're reminded of where this story is going and what world we're in at the end of the day.
