Its simplicity and quiet design appealed to me. The fact that it doesn't waste a novel's worth of pages talking about how to organize my life and be grateful also appealed. I don't need a life coach in a planner, just a useful time organizer and motivating tool...so I have no desire to pay for a bunch of pages to be looked at once then never again...ESPECIALLY when it comes time to buy a replacement planner after I fill this one up. That one of the things that kept me from purchasing another Best Self planner, besides comparative cost for function offered by this planner. The Priori planner has exactly three coaching pages at the front, if you need more than that, the planner's design might be so complicated that you will spend half your day keeping up with your planner rather than actually doing the work or other tasks you've planned.I originally thought I would have preferred this planner be organized by Month, then Weekly pages for that month, followed by Daily pages after each week but on second thought now that I hold it in my hands, I like how all the Monthly pages are together, then the Weekly pages, then the Daily pages. I can use the three ribbon place markers to mark the current month/week/day easily enough...plus the current organization will make it a lot easier to page through all the months for big picture stuff, or all the weeks one after the other to notice trends, habits, etc.I am very pleased with this planner's price and design. All of the months in the front, then all the weeks, then all the days - it'd be easy to assume this is inconvenient but the three bookmark ribbons make it easily managed.The monthly layout includes high priority goals and how to get there, as well as a section for reminders and notes.The weekly layout has a "do it daily" portion for daily affirmations, good deeds, health & exercise, and habit. As well as a portion for tasks and errands. Every Sunday morning I take the time to map out the week ahead of me and review what I need to get done.The day layout allows hour-by-hour planning with a portion for top priority vs priority tasks.
