Happy with purchase!
I purchased this machine for daily use at the point of being forced to replace my Krupp's screw-top espresso maker, a machine I used daily for approx. 20 years. After using the Espressione for a couple weeks now, I would say it is easy to use and makes a good espresso, latte, cappuccino--whatever your desire might be and barista skills allow. This machine cost more than I wanted to spend but I like the features it offers. Definitely more versatile than my old machine. Will it last as long as my old machine? I have no idea. I'm sure it will last long enough to pay for itself if I am saving money from using it and stopping at coffee stands less often. I do not like how big it is; takes up a lot of counter space compared to my old machine. But that is mainly because of the water reservoir, which happens to be one of the features I like--so, a trade-off. Water level is clearly visible and container to easy to access. Instructions for use are well-written.

Broke within the first 1 1/2 months -Lots of glitches. Horrible return policy.
I did much research before buying this idea and I would not recommend it. Conveniently directly after the refund time period of 30 days was over the machine started having problems. If you have any doubts during the first Month return it otherwise you will be stuck with it.It does have a year warranty ( but only if you want to spend 50 $ to have it sent back each time it breaks) but the question is, if you want to keep a product that you spent a good amount of money on, if it can't last two months? Mine is being sent back to be fixed ( you have to pay the shipping fee there/ the company pays the return fee). Update: I received the fixed machine for it to break another two months later. Don't buy this.If your looking to buy a espresso machine stick with a well known brand/ classic machine. Look for one that is as simple as possible ( more money does Not mean better quality). The more gadgets, the more that can go wrong. This machine looks nice ( it is Not made in Switzerland just "designed") but even before it broke completely it was having glitches that I was able to fix.All parts of this espresso machine are made in china.

It’s was too loud
I honestly had to return the product. How can I enjoy making my coffee in the morning when it sounds so awful. I really thought the machine was about to explode.

Looks and works great.
This is our second Esspresione machine. The first lasted several years and this one has additional features that make it even better.

This is literally plastic covered on paper thin tin material!
This is filthy, beaten down machine... and Amazon you are charging me the price of a brand new one!I read the reviews, yet I thought let's see how bad it is... Who ever wants to buy this piece of junk, literally is junk, look elsewhere! There is no stainless steel body, rather than just a layer as thin as the paper of a notebook that covers all the plastic junk...Read the reviews, they are true on this one.

Not easy for multiple use.
Sadly this machine did not live up to expectations. At first it was not heating up (light kept blinking). Then after resetting it, (unplugging) it finally stopped blinking, indicating it was ready for use. After making an espresso (underwhelmed) and then switching to steam the milk for the cappuccino, it would not allow me to switch back to espresso mode for another cup. I called Amazon and they put me through with the Espressione co. service dept. The gentleman was well informed of the product and walked me through the steps to correctly switch back and forth. Also, it would auto shut off without warning, which could be useful, but the light would still indicate that it was on and ready for use, which was confusing and frustrating. Frankley, it is way too time consuming and can be a pain.I have gone through 3 espresso machines in 6 years at this price point. I was disappointed because the smaller Espressione called the Minueto, was much easier to use and made better espresso. It was also better quality though (less breakable plastic) then the small DeLonghi at this price point. I will be returning it.
