Color Sensational Powder Matte Lipstick 25 Chilling Grey

I chose the Maybelline Color Sensational Matte Nude 988 Brown Sugar option, and have mixed feelings about it. The colour is gorgeous, and it’s exactly what I was looking for. There’s a decent amount of pigment to it, and although it is matte, it’s not as matte as I expected it to be. It does have a strong smell and that takes quite a while to wear off or become unnoticeable. The biggest issue for me is that it just doesn’t last and needs to be reapplied frequently, or you end up with what looks like dark lipliner around your lips and nothing else. I’m more of an ‘apply it and forget girl’ so although I will occasionally wear this it's not the every day staple that I was hoping for.

I love this lipstick but unfortunately it wasn’t retractable completely and it was in the lid of the lipstick. They wanted me to return it but too much trouble just for a lipstick!

Gorgeous shade of purple-magenta. Looks amazing with magenta-violet hair. Pleasant shine with moisturisers. Just what I have been looking for.
