However, I’ve noticed a recent change in the packaging that has been disappointing. The new paper packaging feels very cheap, often arriving damaged. While I appreciate that the tampons are wrapped in a plastic bag to prevent them from mixing with the rest of the order, it seems counterintuitive to Lola’s goal of being organic and environmentally conscious. If the packaging isn’t durable and requires plastic to hold it together, it defeats the purpose of sustainability.
