LIVING IN FLORIDA WHERE WE DEAL WITH HIGH TEMPS AND HIGHER HUMIDITY, ITS AN ESSENTIAL APPLIANCE. I ALSO HAVE AN HVAC UNIT THAT IS SLIGHTLY OVERSIZED AND I HAVE DUCTWORK DAMAGE DUE TO A RIPOFF CONTRACTOR DOING A POOR AND DISASTROUS INSTALLATION. MY AIR IS OUT OF BALANCE AND WHEN YOU ADD THAT TO A SLIGHTLY OVERSIZED SYSTEM, ITS A RECIPE FOR PROBLEMS. IM DOING A TOTAL REDO OF MY DUCTWORK IN NOVEMBER WHEN TEMPS ARE SUITABLE FOR INSTALLERS TO SPEND A DAY IN THE ATTIC. THIS DEHUMIDIFIER ALMOST IMMEDIATELY GOT MY SYSTEM WORKING MUCH MORE EFFICIENTLY AND IT NOW MAINTAINS A COMFORTABLE TEMP AND QUALITY AIR ENVIRONMENT. I WOULD RATE IT HIGHER IF I COULD. VERY EASY SETUP OTHER THAN PER THE INSTRUCTIONS, YOU MUST WAIT 24 HOURS BEFORE POWERING THE UNIT UP DUE TO POTENTIAL PROBLEMS THAT CAN ARISE FROM HOW THE SHIPPER HANDLES THE PRODUCT DURING THE SHIPPING PROCESS.
