Kendama! Nothing bad here just a solid dama

I purchased these as Christmas gifts for adults and children. Both had fun for hours with his toy.

It arrived quickly and is a great gift for anyone who likes a challenge and wants a great hand eye coordination excersice! The paint is tacky as in sticky for balance tricks and had a good weight to it. It's a great price for a great brand of kendama!

Super fun to play with! The paint is gorgeous, it starts to scratch when you play with it, but that's totally normal. Easy past time when bored! It comes with an extra string and stickers which is pretty neat !

UPDATE:So I've had this kendama for about a week now. I'm playing multiple times everyday, but using this and two other kendamas, so it's not getting played that hard. And yet look at how badly the paint is already chipping.I love the feel of the sticky paint. But if after just a week of mild play it's this chipped, I'm not going to have any paint left in a couple of months. Very disappointed.ORIGINAL REVIEW:Love my new sweets kendama. I'm pretty new to this, but this is my second one. My first was bamboo with glossy tama. This green stripe is beach and is noticeably lighter in weight. The sticky doesn't seem to impact play as much as I expected. But it's good.Love the color string and stickers. Only thing I don't like is the QR code burned into the little cup. I like wood burned designs, but this feels like having a price tag or UPC label on my toy. I don't care for it.Otherwise, seems great so far.

The package was delivered before the supposed time and my friend is enjoying it sweets makes great kendamas and Amazon has the best delivery

My 9 year old son loves this and I love that it isn't a video game. He loves to challenge friends when they come over to see if they can do it. Enjoyable for any age.

Right as i took the product out of the package there were scratches everywhere, definitely not brand new

All of the Sweets Kendamas on Amazon are technically new-old stock, they are the Prime line that was sold in 2018 and earlier. The kens are a bit smaller than the more recent designs and they lack a few modern features like a larger tama bevel and a balance hole in the base cup. THAT SAID, this is still a really nice kendama, I was happy to have easy access to them on Amazon and they are well made and play nicely. You can still do all the same tricks on them and if anything you will learn the tricks better on this model because it will be slightly more challenging.These are all beech wood, both the ken and the tama and have a sticky paint. Definitely would recommend for a beginner (or someone looking to see if it's for them) and the price is fair.

Bought this Sweets kendama and a cheapo one and the Sweets definitely feels much nicer. The ball's paint is sticky to help you catch it and the balance feels better.
