Good option if you are fed up with motorised models
I bought this after failing with various different motorised treadmills. I am heavy and just under the the borderline of the weight limits for most regular motorised treadmills (not the heavy-duty ones) and time after time they blew up on me after around the three-month mark following 5-day per week, average 40 mins per day useage. Opting for a machine that has no motor has definitely been the way forward, and having used motorised treadmills at home and in the gym for around 25 years now, this definitely gives a much harder workout, as you have to put in all the work and the machine belt won't move unless you do. There is no assistance from the motor so much more effort is needed. I am of above average fitness with strong leg muscles, but I really needed to get used to the new muscle groups that were engaged using this mechanical unit. An extremely good buy and highly recommended. In response to some of these reviews, the incline seems high at first if you are used to a flat bed, but it is not really and is easy to get used to.

Reliable
This manual treadmill is sturdy and quiet! It's on incline, so one can have actual training, it's easy to maintain the slippage of the belt, overall I am very happy with this purchase. Great value for money!

Surprisingly sturdy for the price
fairly sturdy construction given the price (though obviously it's a 'basic' treadmill with no 'bells and whistles'). Suggest using a 'proper' ring or socket spanner for the bolts holding the uprights to the base as they need to be done up pretty tightly to stop them wobbling and the spanner that comes with it isn't really up to the job. Putting it together was pretty straightforward (took 10 minutes). The only problem I've found so far is that it's got a fairly steep incline and it comes with the belt tension set quite low so it has a habit of wanting to summarily throw you off the back as soon as you get the belt moving! I've found it much more useable if you put the belt tension up a bit and reduce the slope by a couple of inches by putting wood blocks under the casters at the bottom, but that's personal preference, others may find it fine 'as is'

Good qualiy, sturdy
It came with about a million pieces however my husband said it was very easy to put together. Its bigger than I thought, very sturdy and seems well built. Very quiet when in use. The incline is quite steep I thought for a walking tredmill but I'm sure Ill get used to it the more I use it. Seems like good quality for the price

Incline is too high and uncomfortable
Incline is way too high and you must hold the handrail otherwise you go flying off. Even after tightening the belt to the max you still need to hold the rail. If you’re looking for something to use just for normal walking this is not for you. Very uncomfortable and gives you bad posture. It’s also extremely heavy for being manual and quite loud so not ideal for a flat.

Not too bad...
I was on the fence with this item but took the plunge. It isn't too bad - it makes you work harder than a standard treadmill due to the friction and permanent incline. You have to hold the handles ever so slightly to maintain movement. You can attach yourself with an exercise band per YouTube videos but it didn't work for me. Holding on isn't a major deal breaker for me. The issue I had was the belt kept going to the left. I followed the instructions to the letter for adjusting this but it would not go central. I therefore sent it back. I may have kept it were it not for this. It's cheap, cost nothing to run and is basic. Not for running though. Perhaps I was unlucky with the belt.

Getting a pull-up resistance band + this treadmill was a game-changer for me
This is pretty much exactly what I was looking for (given my budget). I wanted a manual treadmill that was the size of a walking pad. I previously had an electric walking pad, but I never felt that steady on it - nor did I drag it out often because it was so heavy. This is convenient. I have it standing up next to the wall - not sure it would fit under a couch unless you had quite a tall couch. I wheel it out on its little wheels a few feet and set it up in front of the TV for walking sessions then fold and wheel it back after. I am storing it the same place as my electric one was stored and already I have used it way more than I ever used that one in the two years I had it. A great tip I read was to get a pull-up assist resistance band and loop it around the front of the handle apparatus and have it around you so you can walk hands-free or one-handed more easily. This has made my use more enjoyable and I feel less like I am bearing down over the handles and feel steadier. I am also able to swing either or both arms while doing this for a more natural walking posture. High quality - feels stable and like it will last.

The assembly was a little bit tedious, and yes, 2 persons are needed for the job. Step 1 was tedious because the spanner could only turn the screws a little bit each time. Step 2 - joining the vertical supports to the base was slightly confusing until we figured out that we needed to lift the base. Step 3 - not included ! Step 4 - had to be a little bit more careful not to damage the computer sensor wiring of the handle bar when attaching it to the vertical supports. In general, instructions were clear, and tools and screws are provided. The base was already oiled for me, so I did not need to do that step again. The moving belt responds to my walking motion, and I can stop anytime, but beware, sudden stop is not safe, as you can lose your balance. Big strides also not so suitable because the feet can hit the end of the belt behind you. I think I need to adjust my walking pace and stride length in order to use this equipment safely and efficiently. I think I will do a gentle short walking session for the time being. Quite happy with my purchase.

Small but terrible for losing weight and for maintaining a good body shape. I like the fixed inclined, really good for walking and for jogging as well

This is a truly well made treadmill, excellent value for the money. The packaging was well taken care off and is a breeze to setup. I have been using it daily and it works great! The key, to keep a treadmill trouble free is to oil the belt frequently and if needed to adjust when needed. There is one thing that I am not happy with: Is that I am unable to register the treadmill for warranty. Going to the weblink given: sunnyhealthfitness.com/warranty does not work at all. Maybe some one from Sunnyhealth Fitness can respond and correct this. It would be a shame selling a great treadmill advertizing a warranty with it, and then not being able to register it for warranty! Hopefully someone at Sunnyhealthfitness will read this and correct it....
