Sony MDRE9LP/WHI Earbud Headphones

My brother uses these and has for many years. He has a preference for these and goes through 2 pair a year with heavy daily use. They sound good and are very lightweight, the quality is always great. They fit well and stay in place well without causing ear fatigue or soreness. Great for the price and with lighter use should last much longer.

For a cheap pair of earbuds, these are totally amazing. The sound quality is good, but more importantly, these are DURABLE. I had a pair that lasted me two years of wear and tear, and near constant use, before I lost them. My current pair has also been through the washer and dryer cycle on accident at least 3 times (yes, i live like this) and it still sounds perfect. Obviously the sound isn't perfect but the quality is great for the price.

These ear phones turned out exceptionally good for all that I imagined. I was initially unsure about buying a 7.5$ earphone though it was from Sony. But its totally worth every penny. Its 6 months since I bought them and they've functioned superbly. They have had some rough times.. I've pulled them when they're plugged into the laptop at times, I've lifted the iPhone by the wires. I have crushed them ,slept with them on, left them in my jeans and turned them into the washer by mistake. Both but both the sides still working and they sound great. Noise cancellation- I would say 80%.. Theyre very comfortable in my ear as well.. The only reason I give a 4 is due to quality of the foampads. They are terrible and kept slipping off until they eventually tore when I was refitting them. If not for this, they are perfect.

I love love love these earbuds. Most earbuds hurt my ears but I fall asleep with these every night. I have had a pair for years now and decided to get a second as back up Incase I lose the first pair but the sound quality is great it what’s more is the durability. Like I said, I sleep in these every night, I toss and turn and yank on them all night. I have spilled coffee on them in the past and still work like nothing happened. I dropped one of the buds in tomato soup on my night stand one evening and I didn’t notice for quite a while. I ran the bud under water and left it to dry over night. I really expected it to be messed up but it still worked great. That’s when I decided I needed a second pair.

I've purchased a bunch of these headphones in different colors in the past and I always come back for more. They are not the greatest sounding headphones out there, nor the most durable, but for headphones that cost less than $10, they are great. Also, they are not the headphones that go in ear (bullet looking headphones) which are now everywhere and I just can't keep those in my ears while exercising, they always come out. So I come back for these. I wear these to the gym every day to listen to podcasts/music and each time they last between six and eight months. Pretty good overall based on cost.

These headphones are comfortable and stay in my ears, even while running and climbing. The sound quality is pretty so so though. The treble is ok, but the base quality of the headphones is pretty poor compared to other models I've worn, even in the $10-15 range. Overall they are ok and cheap, but if you want better sound quality go with a different pair.

I'm not an audiophile. I do like my music to sound good. I also HATE the new ear buds that are dominating the market that have a piece that goes into your ear canal. What IS that?! It feels like a rectal exam for my ear. This is one of the few brands that still makes the kind that just sit in the outer part of your ear. They sound great. I have two pairs, one for two years and the other for a year. They still work great. I do not treat them gently but I haven't noticed any damage or crackling, and I use them almost every day. I wish they would give you extras of those foam covers, but oh well. I bought some separately here on Amazon and I switch thm out every so often.

When I first plugged them into my iPod and listened, I was taken by quick surprise. WHAT'S WRONG WITH THESE EARBUDS? The sound quality was terrible. The song didn't sound good at all; there was no bass coming from these earbuds. This resulted in a tinny, weak sound. I'm not an audiophile by any means, but I can tell the difference between my old earbuds and these (and I compared them by switching them out back and forth; noticeable difference). I wouldn't recommend these earbuds at all. Luckily, I had ordered two different pairs of earbuds from Amazon at the same time. I think you really get what you pay for. I don't like those earbuds that stick deep into your ear, so I tend to get this less intrusive form factor. If you want to stick with SONY, I'd recommend the earbuds with the case, model No. MDR-E828LP. The case isn't necessary, but the earbuds are much better. I've bought them multiple times, and they happen to be the second pair I bought along with these bad ones here. Using those right now and I'm satisfied. It costs a bit more, but it's worth the quality in my opinion. However, if you want to stick around this price range, or you want a white-based earbud, I'd go with the JVC Gummys. They have good sound quality for this form factor, and I've used them a couple times. I don't think they last very long though, as I bought these new SONY earbuds because my JVC burnt out on the left earbud. But they're cheap, and once again, you get what you pay for. Just in the case of these SONY MDRE9LPs, it's not even worth $8.

O fone tem som alto e graves bons para um uso de lazer. Para alguma atividade de músico não é o ideal.

Bin enttäuscht! Hatte von Sony in einem Elektromarkt vor Ewigkeiten ähnliche Kopfhörer gekauft, der Unterschied zu denen ist enorn. Ich verwende noch immer die Alten und obwohl der Hörer rechts kaputt ist, ist der Klang besser als bei den neuen 🙁

I use these with my Acer Chrome Book, when I am on Google Meet and Zoom. They are comfortable and give a good sound.

It's old model , not good , don't buy
