Alltrax XCT-48400 YDRE 400 Amp Motor Controller for Yamaha YDRE (Drive) Golf Cars 14 mph Speed Unless Requested Otherwise

I wanted to up the speed on my completely stock 2009 Yamaha golf cart. I was also looking for the option to upgrade later and be able to diagnose and trouble shoot problems when they happen. The Alltrax did all of it without a sweat. The package came with the needed adapter mount to install it in the location of the factory controller. It also had all needed hardware and great simple instructions. If you can bake cookies you should be able to install this. Not to mention their customer service was awesome when I called. Once installed you can plug your computer into it with a printer USB cord (not included) and it will give you live data and the ability to save logs to send to Alltrax in the case of a problem. Very simple app to use and make changes to the performance of the cart. All of my wires were plug and play with the stock stuff and I was able to hit 22 mph with only this change. They do make a cooling fan for the controller but I haven't had mine get warm yet. I figured if it does I can add it on later. As a newbie to this stuff I have had a great experience and would urge anyone to take on this project cause it is easy and gives you a lot of bang for your buck.

had to swap from the origional moric it was totaly un avaliable for an unseeable future put the altrax on was a simple install worked right off the git go and still moving the grandkids every day love it.

D & D Motors was excellent to work with. They called me before shipping to confirm that the controller was compatible with my set up and programmed it to my set up. Install into my Yamaha YDRE was easy and ready to go right out of the box. Jeff was extremely helpful. Would definitely recommend to anyone considering upgrading their cart.
