Easy, safe, goes a long way
Was using Ikea’s danish oil product for my kitchen counter but ran out. Bought this as a replacement.Worked very well to reseal the counter.I decided to also try on an interior door that had been stripped and not varnished. It was very dry and brittle looking and I’d been trying to decide whether to varnish or just repaint it. I put on a coat of the oil (using a cloth) and much soaked straight in. A second coat started to show some real difference and it’s matured over a week now. It probably needs a 3rd coat to be finished and the door is a battered original from 1901 (and not as quality as it seemed before it was stripped). Looks lots better, better than it would varnished too. Am planning on doing the other doors that similarly were stripped. And after a full coat on the counter and two on a door the bottle is still 3/4 full. The cloth method seems to work well though you get a lot on your hands.I found it safe to use, it didn’t irritate my hands and didn’t leave residue. The smell is neither pleasant or unpleasant. It doesn’t affect me like VOC fume paints do.Recommended for value, ease of use and doing the job.

Excellent
Dries relatively quickly, and a little really does go a long way. With apple and cherry woods it leaves a lovely colour and feel to it. Just need to be careful with rags or tissues used as if left lying around they can catch fire (this hasn’t happened to me and is a danger with any oils of this kind - but is good to know). Doesn’t leave an unpleasant smell and finish seems to last well.

Table resurfacing
Bought this to help overcome a problem I had with my wooden tables surface. The table top was sticky (varnish had become contaminated with some chemical from a plastic cover we used) and during the summer cups plates, anything placed onto it began to stick. So, we had to rub the whole thing down and use this instead. Appying it is very easy just dab it on spongeuntil it's fully covered. It did the job and it still looks good 4 months on. I'll give it another couple of coats with this again in a few weeks time just to keep it looking good. It only takes a few minutes to put it on and I usually leave it overnight to soak in. The bottle is still quite full and should last for many other jobs as well.

Fantastic wood oil
This oil is perfect for finishing newly sanded wood. It goes on easily, dries quickly and leaves a lovely smooth finish. If you have reactions to paint and varnish this is perfect as it contains no VOCs and is just linseed oil. It also seems to go a long way as well.

Brilliant!!!
The media could not be loaded. It does have a slight smell, which does go away pretty quickly. In these pictures, I only use one coating, but it does quickly darken, so I didn’t add any more coating.

The best of three products tested
I tested three products as followsParr's Danish Oil 500ml (£13.99) https://www.amazon.co.uk/dp/B007BD5Y3M?psc=1Nordicare Danish Oil 500ml (£13.15) https://www.amazon.co.uk/Danish-Oil-Wood-Nordicare-Underlines/dp/B09KC69J7CFurniture Clinic Danish Oil 500ml (£13.95) https://www.amazon.co.uk/Danish-Interior-Exterior-Wooden-Furniture/dp/B00CECZ0OS(Prices listed at time of writing)I tested all 3 on the same piece of steamed beech which I sanded to 320 grit using an orbital sander. I followed then followed the specific instructions for each product to apply 3 coats.Overall I found this product to be the best of the three - it is quite viscous and is satisfying to apply as it is easy and quick to ensure all areas are coated. Start by pouring a small amount for your first use and gauge how much you need to use for future projects to avoid wastage as the thickness means it pours out a lot quickly in one go.To the naked eye this oil definitely provides the most consistent coating - evident even after the first coat. A third coat may not even have been necessary. The process for this product needs 15 minutes at least before wiping off and takes 8 hours to dry. In comparison Nordicare oil must be left an hour before being wiped off and 9-12 hours for drying and the Furniture Clinic's oil should be wiped off after 3 minutes and takes 6 hours to dry.The product isn't very odorous when applying and leaves the wood with a nice natural scent when dry.

It’s linseed oil
Not Danish Oil as I am used to. Ok though.
