Collect the acclaimed, controversial sci-fi comic "The Invisibles" by Grant Morrison. Follow a secret org battling interdimensional alien gods oppressing humanity. Review: Epic - Epic, brilliant, mind-bending and an all-round outstanding read. There is the time before you read this, and the time after. Review: Massive book, excellent story. - This thing is huge, you could stop small caliber bullets with it. Its a good read too and the Invisibles is basically a lot like the Matrix movies. Doesnt pull any punches either, its really gritty, brutal stuff. If you are looking into getting a huge comic fix thats spiritual, gut wrenching and thought prrovoking, get this and you`ll be very satisfied. Hefty price tag, but considering its just....everything for the invisibles, its probably better value than an alternative as there is just so much there.

REALLY HEAVY, MAN!
SOME BOOK THIS LIKE! Thick as anything, the biggest book which I have ever owned and, just 50 pages in thus far I must say what Mr Spock used to say 'FASCINATING'! 'Tis a work of genius, much subtle and delightful - luv it with only 900 pages to go reading slow.......

complex, funny and great
currently still reading this behemoth! an engrossing comic that invites the reader to engage in pathways of thought that aren't travelled on too often. what at first is jarring and confusing soon becomes immersive and interwoven. the book itself is heavy! it's huge and definitely something you'll only be reading at home.

Complex story depth and Entertaining
I never read the invisibles before buying this collection. I have to say it is a slow read but very enjoyable. What makes it slow is the depth of story and the understanding of the characters. Arguable Grant Morrison's best work.

Too big. Should have bought separately.
The book is just too big to read! You need a crane to handle the thing! A single volume is a nice idea but this is just too big.

One Big Book
Massive and in all aspects, if your looking at it buy it, and ignore all the crap about it being too big, it looks epic on the bookshelf!!!!!

The Invisibles Omnibus by Grant Morrison is a thrilling, genre-defying comic that blends action, conspiracy, and the supernatural. Following a group of rebels fighting against oppressive forces, the series is known for its fast-paced storytelling and striking, varied artwork. Though at times complex and surreal, it offers a gripping, unpredictable ride for fans of bold, unconventional comics. It’s a standout in the world of graphic novels, blending exciting adventure with deep, layered world-building.

This book is just incredible. You either love Grant Morrison or you hate him. I generally love what he puts out, but not always. This series specifically was one I dropped six issues in when it was originally released. Based on letter columns at the time, I was not alone. Sounds like this prompted Vertigo to halt the series and relaunch it as "Volume 2" right around the time that Grant was gaining mainstream fame as the writer of JLA (If I remember correctly Grant may have also had a health scare around that time which may have also contributed to the halting of series). With Volume 2 Grant grounded his work with the beautiful artwork of Phil Jiminez and made the book more "accessible". From there I was hooked and have since read the series a few times. I'm looking forward to giving the book another reread in this giant format! The one thing I wish was included was all the letter columns as Grant did them himself (for the first two volumes...before Vertigo abandoned all letter columns by the time Volume 3 was released). I did find a website dedicated to The Invisibles that reprints all the letter columns as they appeared as well as a ton of other info if you want to go deeper into possible meanings in each issue. I recommend tracking down the letter columns online at minimum to add some extra commentary of what Grant was going through as he built out this series.
