Great value and price for random use on all woods.
Not using this bit for continued long term use, just some small project or two. Probably not the quality for long term continuous use but worked great for what I bought it for.

Performed well in a compact router. Money well spent!
This came in the nick of time! Bit came in while I was working on projects. This was my first router but purchase from Amazon. My expectations were exceeded. I was worried this bit might be too big for my small router, but it performed well. It definitely is the best value for my money. It handled well, was easy to assemble. It came in a plastic box with all the necessary tools. It performed as I expected it to. It has great weight to it. It is built solid and cut with ease. I will definitely be buying more of these router bits. I recommend. You can’t go wrong.

Makes a great lawnmower blade balancer
This is a review of the bearing, not the router bit. I ordered this item because I saw a Youtube that used this bearing for balancing lawnmower blades and it looked like a great idea. I drilled a hole in the side of a shelf support to hold the bearing and it works great. I sharpen a lot of blades and this bearing nicely fits the various hole sizes.

Great For Home and Hobby Use
Very accurate and cut is crisp and sharp. It comes in a small plastic case that includes the different bearing sizes niceorgabized in a stack and helt in place with an extra bearing screw. Allen wrench for bearing screw is included. I've read reviews where the screw is too tight, but with the bit mounted in the outer collett it was easy to break loose. The only reason this didn't get 5 stars it that I don't know if it would hold up well enough for a tradesman, but for this hobbiest/homeowner it's just what the doctor ordered and at the right price

Bearing screw was VERY tight when received (otherwise, bit works as it should).
The bit works great but the bearing screw was VERY tight when I took delivery. It was so tight that the provided allen wrench stripped the hex head when trying to unscrew it. I ended up having to use a pair of vise grips to remove the screw. I'll have to keep some spare bearing screws on hand as backups.

Didn't work for me
I gave this 3 stars because I want to be fair. Most reviewers have liked this rabbeting bit. It didn't work for me. I put the correct size bearing in place and tightened the set screw as tight as I could get it. I tried it on scrap wood first and it worked great. Then I moved to the real job and it worked great for about the first 2 feet of my cut then the bearing flew off and my work piece was ruined. A couple other reviewers had this problem but most did not so maybe it will work for you. If you use it I suggest you get the set screw very tight and if you have a long rabbet to cut you might want to stop and check the bearing part way through the job.As always Amazon issued a refund with no hassle.
