I purchased the Malibu C Hard Water Wellness Shampoo specifically as a chelating shampoo to help remove hard water buildup, and it has worked really well for that purpose. After using it, I can clearly tell a difference in the texture of my hair — it feels cleaner, lighter, and less weighed down. I only use this about once every 6 weeks as part of a clarifying routine, and it does a great job without over-drying my hair. Compared to other chelating or clarifying shampoos I’ve tried, this one feels less harsh while still being effective. It also has a pleasant scent and lathers nicely, which makes it easy to work through the hair evenly. Overall, this is a great option for removing mineral buildup from hard water, especially if you want something effective but still gentle enough for occasional use.

Will forever buy this product ! We have such harsh hard water and this is the only product that truly helps . If you’ve been thinking of buying you definitely should. I also have weft extensions. It helps keep them nice and soft and in good shape . Super conditioning & has a good smell..

Wow this seems to work and believe me I am very skeptical about products. I bought the small travel size bottle to try before investing in a full size bottle because it is on the pricey side. I live in a city with hard water so decided to give this a try and my hair is really soft and manageable. The only thing I am not sure about is how often to use it as I do not want to use it for each shampoo. I have seen some people say they use it once per week, some once per month, etc. so I guess I will just have to see what works best for me with the water in my area. This works much better than just a clarifying shampoo as it removes the iron and other minerals that build up with hard water.

It works we have a well and live rurally my hair is fine as I have aged (41) this is much needed we have calcium heavy water. The conditioner is nice too. I’m not the kind of person who spends 17$ on shampoo either. Suave clarifying is what I am using alternating washes and using this once a week my hair became very oily after I had my baby two years ago. I wear my hair long past bra strap length too so buildup can’t happen

This shampoo makes my hair feel very soft. I live in FL and my hair gets frizzy and dry with the water here so this shampoo works well for once a week use. Kind of pricy for my budget though.

This particular item came unsealed and leaked everywhere and it had to be returned. But my experience using this type of shampoo has been good! Cleans hair well without stripping everything.

Definitely notice a difference between regular shampoo and using this but not the best clarifying shampoo I've ever used but I had ultimately picked this one because it seemed most affordable. In future I would consider spending a little more but I also have a LOT of hair. Might be fine for people with less volume of hair and maybe not severe hard water problems.

My hair looks so oily and dead but when I realized it's because of hard water and gave this shampoo a try, my hair went back to how it was before. This is now my standard shampoo and will buy more next time when I ran out of Malibu C shampoo again.
