Short term report -- excellent
I haven't used these crutch tips for very long, but my experience to date has been very favorable, and I just ordered a second set (I have two pairs of Lofstrand crutches) and will possibly order a third pair (on good days I can get by with a cane). The two factors that influenced my choice is the non-slip claim and the one size fits most. So far they've met both claims. My apartment building has tile floors that get slippery on rainy days -- and while the non-slip isn't perfect, it's a great improvement over the old crutch tips, and better than leaning against the wall. Getting the tips on was a lot easier than removing the original tips that came with the crutches (the screwdriver method of removing the old tips worked well for me).Reading through the unfavorable reviews, there are two complaints that I can't answer: are they durable? I don't know. The rubber is much softer than the original tips, and might wear down more quickly. Also, since they're shorter than the original tips they might come off more easily -- but I haven't had that problem so far. Yesterday I had a chance to do a sort of comparison test on a damp hardwood floor. First I tried walking with the crutches with the original tips, and they did slip. Then I switched to the set of crutches that had the non-slip tips, and found that they were much better. That's when I decided to order the second set in spite of the price.FWIW, I'm a BK amputee still learning to use my prosthesis, and hoping to get along without a walker, crutches, or even a cane -- so my experience may not apply to everyone -- but I consider these crutch tips a small step towards putting away the walker and gaining a bit more mobility.

Nice and bright and functional,
These were colorful, easy to fit onto older crutches. They seem to be good quality, and I've had no problems with them.

Great tips
I've had these tips on my Lofstrand crutches for 5 months now. I use them daily both indoors and out. I've tried on wet, dry, icy, snow, uneven, just about every surface and condition you can think of and they have great grip. They are easy to place on the crutches. I did originally worry about how shallow the well base is but they haven't fallen or or come loose yet. I see complaints of how people say they Crack. I can see this happening sooner than with many other tips as they are a softer rubber. I also looked at the tips in pictures of such a reviews. The amount of wear on those tips show a need for replacement anyways as they are no longer serving their purpose as they no longer have any grip and pose a hazard. Tips are not supposed to last indefinitely. Depending on the tip and usage the recommended time for changing out a tip is 3-6 months. One an area is worn down, grooves are shallow or non existent or a cracked tip is no longer safe and pose a fall hazard.

They do not slip.
I love these tips. They do not slip on wet tile. It was hard to get my old ones off. That shows how good they are. I also enjoy having a choice of colors.

Quality has diminished!
The media could not be loaded. I am a disabled person that walks with crutches all my life. I’ve been buying these crutches tips from them for the past 5 years(they were the best I could find at the time). They were great at first and usually lasted about 5-6 months. But the last 2 years or so, they have been breaking around the 3-5 weeks period. At first I thought it was just a bad batch and bought more, even tried different colors as well. I will stop buying them now, cause they are expensive and the quality isn’t there anymore. They probably went with a cheaper manufacturer to cut cost/increase profit and thus low quality product.

Long lasting
I’m an incomplete quad and use my forearm crutches the majority of the time.I switch to my walker on my longer jaunts. I also live in Central Florida where we have a rainy season. As such my crutches get a lot of wear and saltwater and so do the grips. To the point where I actually broke a crutch this year from wear and tear. The grips however are still in near perfect shape. They have held up remarkably well.I’m honestly shocked with how well they look because I beat my crutches to death and the grips usually need total replacement after a few months. These are now 13 months plus and are still nowhere needing replacement.I’m ordering another pair of crutches and will be adding these from the get go.They add a good amount of stability and grip without being overly weighty.Easy to put on and they stay on.
