What is a "pair of two" - two is a pair….a pair of two is four. Is that what they mean?

Just received this item a few days ago. The were two crutch tips in the package. Apparently whoever wrote that description did not go to the same school that you and I did, where we learned that a pair is two. They do work great; I have tile floor in bathroom, was always concerned about slipping. Still need to be careful, though.

How well do these work on crutches?

These tips will work great on both canes and crutches. Just make sure that the bottom of the crutch is no longer than 1". They are a chore to get on when they are almost 1", but they will fit with patience.

I just need 5/8 inch cane tip. Do I need to order all three sizes? It seems unlikely it will stay on a 5/8 inch shaft if it also fits a 1 inch shaft.

There is only one size, it will for your 5/8 cane. The tip is designed to stretch to accommodate any shaft from 5/8 to 1 inch. The rubber that is used has high tensile properties which allows side accommodation as well as excellent traction and stickiness. It will work just fine with your cane. Im having issues with my crutch tips sticking to hardwood floors these would almost certainly break the seal Thoughts?

We have had only positive experiences with these tips. They grip but do not stick. They are good on wet surfaces. they are also wearing very slowly.
