WONDERFUL FLAVOR FOR COLD BREW COFFEE
I have tried many coffee's. This is my go to coffee especially for making cold brew coffee. I love the full flavor. Unlike other coffees which I tend to add more creamer to, with the Kenya AA Coffee I want very little creamer to cover the wonderful flavor of the coffee. I highly recommend this coffee to anyone looking for bold and full flavored coffee especially for making cold brew coffee.

Surprisingly smooth for an African-origin coffee!
I've been drinking small-batch craft coffee for about a decade and usually steer clear of African beans because I find them too acidic for my taste - I'm more of a Guatemala fan. But this Ethiopian coffee completely surprised me. It’s smooth, balanced, and lacks that sharp acidity I usually associate with the region. We've been buying it exclusively for over a year now. Highly recommend for anyone who wants the complexity of Ethiopian beans without the bite.

Love this coffee!
Coffee tastes are subjective I guess, but Ethiopian Sidamo has a light “berry” note. It’s my go to brew. The supplier is great and very dependable.

Dark Ethiopian (Fresh Roasted Coffee): It was good until it changed
Dark Ethiopian (Fresh Roasted Coffee)Four stars for history, though the produce (apparently) underwent a change. We had a "subscribe and save" subscription to this for over three years (every two weeks) and were very happy with the product. Until early March of 2025. The item delivered at that time was quite different from all the preceding shipments (first picture). We contacted FRC customer service and provided the same picture. The representative agreed that the shipment was wrong and sent a replacement - which was correct. However, the NEXT TWO S&S deliveries were exactly the same as the first incorrect package. FRC customer service did not immediately respond, but had evidently consulted their roastmaster who replied"The color of the Dark Yirgacheffe that was roasted on 3/21 is Ag-37 (dark) and is consistent with production roast samples that were done as far back as 2023. The issue might be that due to less oil (likely due to the green coffee age) on the outside of the bean, it may appear lighter."Now I do not know a lot about roasting coffee, but I can tell when two things are not the same. Perhaps it did change for some reason, but the product is no longer what we want, so we have moved on to another product.

Great seller excellent coffee
We have ordered several times from this seller, and have tried a few different flavors. This one is our new favorite. It is a nice smooth roast with no bitterness. The seller ships quickly. They are now our go to for great coffee!!

Seems more of a medium roast than medium dark. OK if that's what you like.
Since I prefer darker roasts, this coffee doesn't have the deep chocolatey flavor I generally seek. Aroma seems more herbal, maybe more of a black tea flavor to me. Since this brand seems committed to providing a wide range of single origin coffee in a variety of roasts, I am willing to take a chance on trying out their products. I always have some decaf to mix with a flavor I don't really care for, so not as much of a problem when I am not enamoured with any one variety. That's the case here. One and done, ready to move on to something else.

The Best Coffee!
This is the best coffee! My son-in-law absolutely loves it! I purchase it for him twice each year--once at Christmas and once on his birthday in July. He said he can't find coffee this good anywhere else. My daughter says he is a "coffee snob," so to impress him with good coffee takes a lot. Kudos on a great product!

Disappointing Batch
Very sour - something seems off with this roast.I'm an experienced coffee drinker who has enjoyed Ethiopian Yirgacheffe before (not from this seller), so I know what to expect from this origin. Unfortunately, this particular batch was a major disappointment.Despite spending a full week experimenting with my French press setup - trying different grind sizes, water temperatures, and brewing times - every single cup came out unpleasantly sour. This wasn't the bright, fruity acidity that Yirgacheffe is known for, but rather an off-putting sourness that made the coffee undrinkable.Given that I've had excellent Yirgacheffe coffees in the past with the same brewing method, I can only conclude there was something wrong with this particular batch or brand. It's frustrating because coffee is perishable and can't be returned once opened.Would not recommend. The roaster may want to review their quality control process.
