Good photos in tight spaces
Easy to use. Good picture quality. Bought a non-articulating version first. That was a waste. I'm using this for engines but handy other ways too.

Great articulation and compact head, but limited screen rotation
I’ve tried a few of these inspection cameras and this one stands out for a couple of reasons. The head is nice and compact, which makes it easier to get into tighter spaces than some of the bulkier models. The articulation is also really well done. It moves smoothly and doesn’t bind up like others I’ve used, which makes a big difference when you’re trying to look around corners or fine tune your view. Image quality is so-so, but that’s pretty much in line with other tools in this price range. It’s good enough for inspection work, just don’t expect anything super sharp. What I didn’t like is the display rotation. It only rotates 180 degrees, which feels limiting in practice. There are plenty of situations where a 90 degree rotation would make viewing much more natural, especially when working in tight or awkward orientations. You can work around it, but it’s not as intuitive as it could be. Overall, it does the core job very well, especially the articulation, which is the main reason to buy something like this. Just be aware of the screen rotation limitation going in.

Worth it
Definitely worth the money.

I feel like a tiny little explorer
I definitely picked this up NOT for it's normal intended use, so take my account with a grain of salt, but I've been enjoying it anyway. It's supposed to be for mechanics and stuff, I mostly have been using it to explore under our couch and bookshelves, behind stuff, in our dish drain, etc. Turns out, your home is gross and you should feel gross about it. Been ILLUMINATING, I guess, but yikes. It's pretty tough, I've gotten it stuck a couple times and had to like yank it back out and it's not broken yet, so that's nice. It's long enough to reach pretty far, so it's easy to get it stuck, but it hasn't been a problem yet. And despite how gross my home apparently is, it's been really cool to explore. Terrified to look in the yard, but, that's next...

Precise Two-Way Articulating Borescope With Clear Imaging and Smooth Probe Control
After using this two-way articulating borescope for several weeks on engines, tight mechanical spaces, and home inspections, I’ve been impressed with how smoothly the probe moves and how clear the image quality is in real use. I’ve tried several small-diameter scopes before, and many have stiff articulation, dim lighting, or image noise that makes details hard to interpret. This model offers clean control, bright illumination, and dependable maneuverability in tight areas. The 5.5-millimeter probe size is ideal for reaching narrow channels, threaded openings, and cavities that larger scopes can’t access. The articulation responds smoothly in both directions, and the control wheel provides enough resistance to make fine adjustments without overshooting. The bend angle stays consistent, and the probe holds position well when navigating around corners. The camera produces a sharp, clear picture with accurate color and minimal distortion. The lighting is bright enough for dark spaces, and the adjustable brightness levels help prevent glare on reflective surfaces. Details such as wear marks, residue, loose fittings, and surface texture are easy to see, even at close range. The flexible probe coating feels durable without being too rigid. It slides easily through tubing, channels, and gasket openings and resists abrasion when brushing against metal edges. The housing around the camera head is compact and smooth, which helps prevent snagging. The display is bright and easy to read from multiple angles. The menu system is straightforward, with quick access to brightness control, image rotation, and capture settings. The response time is fast, and there is little to no delay while adjusting the probe or switching viewing angles. The overall handling is comfortable. The grip has a balanced feel, and the control layout makes it easy to articulate the probe and adjust settings simultaneously. The buttons have a crisp response that avoids accidental presses. One small consideration is that the probe performs best when wiped clean after each use. Dust or fine debris can affect articulation slightly, but a quick wipe restores smooth movement. Durability has been excellent so far. The articulation mechanism has not loosened, the lighting remains bright, and the display shows no flickering or dead pixels. The probe casing shows no cracking or kinking, even after repeated bends and tight maneuvering. Maintenance is simple. Clean the probe after use, store it coiled loosely, and keep the display protected from impacts. For anyone needing a narrow, clear, and easy-to-control articulating borescope for detailed inspections, this model offers reliable performance and a user-friendly design suited for regular use.

Finally, an Articulating Scope That Delivers
I’ve used plenty of inspection cameras over the years, and most of them fall apart the moment you need precision. This NIDAGE articulating borescope is the first one in its price range that actually behaves like a professional tool instead of a toy. Articulation That Actually Works The 2‑way bending head is the star of the show. It doesn’t flop, drift, or fight you, it holds position and gives you controlled, deliberate movement. In tight spaces (intake runners, firewall cavities, aircraft panels, RV ducts), that precision is everything. Slim 5.5mm Diameter = Access Where Others Can’t Go Most scopes claim “slim,” but this one actually gets into the places where tolerances are tight. It’s a good value for the money

Impressive.
The first thing I did with this borescope, was to look in a few dark places to check it out. I peeked underneath one of my valve covers. The clarity of the screen was very impressive and it was easy to feed the camera lense the full length of the valve cover. The next thing I looked at with the borescope was underneath of my dashboard. I'm not as flexible as I used to, and tracing wires is usually a difficult project. I was easily able to locate a wire that had separated from a terminal, and after several years of not having a working fuel gauge, it now works. I will use this tool often while I finish a number of projects on my 68 year old car.
