I used a lot of Turmeric daily, I think its great value for the quantity. But the quality is absolutely terrible, very very dark brown in COLOR and... doesn't taste like turmeric. I am wondering what is this a bad product or use with Alkaline.

WILL NOT PURCHASE AGAIN! It is not bright orange or yellow, its dark orange and brown. It smells kind of like tumeric, but not quite. I bought specifically for Golden Milk recepie, and the end result was a brown mixture. Very disappointed.

This was a great value for you if you use Turmeric. Its high quality and by having a lot I feel free to use it wherever I want, every day. I’m very happy with the quality of this powder. Plus I love this brand. I have purchased many of their products.

Five pounds of turmeric turned out to be A LOT, but I use this daily. They help my dog’s inflammation and seem to be of very good quality. The bag itself is pretty good, but I always transfer out the powder into my own ziplock bags to be safe. This is such a great value compared to purchasing smaller batches. I recommend this.

I would not consider myself a turmeric expert, but for someone who’s used fresh turmeric and other brands, including Costco’s this stuff is absolute crap!!! The flavor is off it taste more like dirt than turmeric. The color is Dead and lifeless. I do not want to be told that it oxidizes I’ve had Anthony’s turmeric for years and it never once lost its color nor has Trader Joes nor has Costco‘s so companies are full of it. If they tell you this is why the color is off. You will not get that vibrant yellow color, 9n cooking either, I have included a picture when I’ve added just plain water it’s brown like dirt. In the middle, the vibrate turmeric on the left side is Trader Joes, and the one on the right side in the middle is Costco‘s and the outside is micro ingredients totally subpar!! You will also notice in the liquid mixture there’s white floating stuff on top. It’s clearly rice flour particles does not dissolve well. I know that some people like to color their turmeric and sell it as well turmeric but if you had fries, you know the difference this is horrible. I do not recommend it. I am going to ask for my money back, and I will never buy it again. This company is a hidden mess for most of their products. I wasn’t that thrilled with the mushroom powder either.

It works for me

I'm using turmeric as a nutritional supplement. I like that this turmeric is water soluble. The previous turmeric did not dissolve in water. This brand does dissolve and mixes well with the other supplements I use. It tastes better too. The biggest surprise was that it comes in a 5 lb bag. I won't need to reorder for a long time, but I will reorder.
