This drill is a good tool to have.
Great drill, easy to use, battery operated, having level and stud finder all in on tool is a great design. I would recommend this especially if you only have a small tool storage place.

A Must-Have for DIY Lovers – Smart, Compact, and Powerful!
This little drill has been a lifesaver for all our home projects! It’s lightweight, easy to use, and surprisingly powerful for its size. The built-in stud finder is amazing—no more guessing where to drill. The laser with the bubble level helped us hang shelves and frames perfectly straight, and the LED light is clutch in darker corners. Love that it’s cordless and the battery lasts a good while. The bit storage on the drill is a nice bonus too. Honestly, this is the perfect tool for anyone who likes to do things themselves without the hassle.

Good buy for the money.
Better drill than I expected. I use drills a lot for work and usually use the bigger names in the drill game but this one works well has good power and I like the stud finder. The lazer level is cool feature also.

Good option for new DIY enthusiasts
I gave the Multi-Drill 5 stars, but I don't think this drill is the best fit for everyone. First, this is really more of a driver than a drill. While the chuck accepts hex bits, the chuck isn't swappable, so you will need to use hex drill bits and not standard drill bits. This isn't a huge problem since hex drill bits can be found at any hardware store these days. You could also use something like the Make it Snappy system (which I highly recommend) to mount regular drill bits into hex connectors for this drill. I find I do most of my drilling this way since swapping hex bits is faster than swapping standard drill bits, so the lack of a Jacobs chuck for standard bits isn't a deal breaker. But if you do work where you need some precision in your drilling, you may want to also have a real drill anyway since hex bits have a tendency to wobble and have runout. The Multi-Drill is a better driver than a drill, but that's not necessarily a bad thing. It's really hard not to compare this to the Bosch GSR12V-300HX. Dremel is a division of the Robert Bosch Tool Corporation, and the two tools use the same 12V battery platform (albeit with different branding). Because of that relationship, there are several benefits to buying into Dremel's new Blueprint line: (1) there's a pretty robust family of compatible 12V tools you can explore, and (2) this isn't Bosch's first rodeo and the engineering and design is top notch. Bosch knows how to make a good drill. Relative to the GSR12V, the Multi-Drill has a couple of clear upgrades: brighter LED, the bit holder is push to insert, and it has a C-shape design. But it’s also a bit bigger: 1/2 a pound heavier, 1 inch longer, and 1 inch taller. It's also one variable speed (0-800 RPM), not two (0-460 and 0-1750), and has less torque. Since I've seen YouTube videos trying to explain the difference between the "1" and "2" numbers on a drill, it's easy to understand why they kept the Multi-Drill simple with a single "Goldilocks" 800 RPM speed setting and I don't fault them for that. The kit price for the GSR12V is $159 (MSRP) and that comes with a bag and two batteries. The Multi-Drill is considerably less expensive at $99 (MSRP) and comes with one battery and no bag, but you do get an integrated stud detector and laser level. It does fit in the Dremel and Bosch 12v soft tool bags, but you need to buy one separately. The laser level is removable, and I wouldn't be surprised if some makers start creating some other 3D-printed tools that you could tuck in the laser level slot. It's an unconventional design choice, but I like it. The stud detector isn't removable, and it's perhaps my one significant complaint because the tool is a bit bigger and heavier to accommodate a stud detector you won't always need. The stud detector and laser levels are good, but they also aren't anything to write home about. The Multi-Drill I received was made in China. In sum, I think this is a good tool for a new homeowner or a new DIYer and could be a gateway tool to the larger Dremel/Bosch 12V ecosystem. If the integrated stud detector isn't your cup of tea, I'd encourage you to check out the Bosch GSR12V-300HX (which I use on a regular basis). I'm really glad to see Dremel developing more 12V tools, which is a great form factor for DIYers, makers, woodworkers, and hobbyists.

Good for home, but you can purchase better for the same price.
I’m a maintenance technician at a set of apartments and I thought this was a very useful tool and light weight. I would say it’s done what it’s suppose to for the most part but I thought the laser would have self charged when placed in the drill and it doesn’t, the stud finder isn’t as good as you would think, an doesn’t really work well unless it’s used for anything under 5/8s drywall an not simple to use the stud finder. The battery life is moderate but constant use drains the battery rapidly and the price for an extra battery is outrageous for the brand, for simple home use I would say yeah, it’s a great tool. Work place not so much.

Excellent combo drill, well worth it!
Dremel nails another home run out of the park! Drill is ergonomically shaped and fits nicely in your hands. Built in stud finder and laser leveler work great and are a welcome handy addition! What a great combo I've never seen together, great time saver. Battery life is good, so far I've been able to finish the job without having to stop to recharge or replace the battery. Worth every penny!

Lightweight, Powerful & Easy to Use
I’ve been getting back into my creative groove and working on some small DIY projects around the house, and the Dremel Blueprint has honestly been a game changer for me. It’s lightweight but still super sturdy, and it makes me feel like I actually know what I’m doing even when I’m just figuring it out as I go. I’ve used it on a few things already, and I love how easy it is to handle. I’m not a pro or anything, just someone who’s reclaiming her space and finding joy in making things again. If you’re just getting started or picking your tools back up like me, this one’s a solid investment. "This product was gifted to me by the seller for testing and review purposes.
