Love it
Used this product to sow seeds in our flower garden and it definitely made it easier to control application. Worked for various size and shape seeds. Best price we found was right here on Amazon with free shipping. Beautiful Results. Easy to recommend.

It was recommended, but I'm not impressed
I purchased this because of a recommendation on an FB gardening forum. However, I am totally unimpressed. There is a little opening in the insert that is supposed to control the seeds - supposedly just enough to let one seed through. But a whole bunch came out and then went into the 'trough'. I guess that then the vibration of turning the wheel is supposed to let a single seed fall out of the trough and onto the dirt. But instead, a whole bunch came out.No thank you. More trouble than it's worth.

Four Stars
Works good for small seeds. Better then trying to roll the seeds out of your hand.

"Gardening Product of the Year" award!
This product should be entered into some sort of "Gardening Product of the Year" award contest. Really really like it. I had never figured out how to plant tiny seeds without them all being dumped into a pile all together. This gizmo solves that completely. I've done both large and small seeds and it reliably clicks out a nice steady stream of seeds. Not shown in the pictures are the very small "grates" or serrations at the end of the unit. These help to trap the seeds and slow down the flow. The thumbwheel "clicker" works great to move the seeds along the length of the product. Very happy with it!

Does a much, much better job than just shaking the seed packet.
The white wheel turns and the vibration makes the seeds jiggle down through the spacer device. You cannot rush when using it, because as with anything, you end up dumping the seeds in one spot. However, if you take 30 seconds to plant a couple of rows in your container, it does the job perfectly. Sturdy construction - I think it will last a long time.

Arrived broken, but ...
... since I didn't try it out until the next growing season, it was too late to return it. The problem is that the wheel (white in the picture) is totally stuck, can't be moved. So the seeder is useless. Maybe someday I'll take a hammer to it so that I can see the insides and see what the problem is.Eventually I gave up and sprang for a Vibro seed planter: costly, but really works well.

Nice Idea but ??? on Function
I wanted a better and faster way to plant tiny carrot seeds. I had great expectations but I have found that it isn't any better than a small tear in the seed packet and then tapping the packet with your finger. With this, the seeds would get bunched up at the opening and kind of dam up and then a bunch of seeds would release all at once. I really wanted this to work but it will be in the bottom of a drawer in the Garden Shed. Maybe it works for more rounded seeds like radish but I found it to be worthless for my needs.

Bought for carrot seeds. No good.
Bought for carrot seeds, as we plant a lot. Thought it would be better than solid seeding and thinning. Well, I ended up solid seeding anyway. May work for larger seeds, but was all but worthless for carrot seeds, unless you only have a few feet to plant, in which case unless you have badly arthritic fingers, just use your fingers.Does what it says it will (vibrates seeds out), but all but worthless for carrots.

I found this a bit difficult to use, as ...
I found this a bit difficult to use, as I have arthritic hands. I tends to be a bit awkward and bulky. The seeds tend to bunch up at the tip, and I finally gave up and planted by hand. I will try again next year, but will practice first.

What a waste of money
Easier sowing by hand. It didn't vibrate and had very little control. I can't find anything good to say about it.
