The pencils blend really well and works great on toned papers. But the only con is they smudge a lot as you expect from a pastel pencil. But overall loved the color range and quality.

This box contains 72 beautiful shades, •The shade number and name is written on all the pencils. •Pencils are pre sharpened for precise work and details, lead is 4mm thick and break- resistant. •pencils are made of soft wood and have natural wood polish so Finishing looks so good, • colors are high pigmented, opaque and water- soluble, so they can be used with mixed media, •one thing that really surprised me was how easy these colors are to blend and erase. I tried pastel pencils for the first time and amazed by results, I think @brustro_official pastel pencils are my new favourite medium.

10/10 recommended for anyone looking to explore this medium!! Videos and photos attached NOTE: the swatch sheet shown is not something that comes with the set, but something I made myself. The item arrived in good condition with no damage. Moving ahead to the item itself... So, these are the Brustro Pastel Pencils, set of 72. The colors are numbered BR01 to BR72 which makes putting them in order very easy. The tin box is functional and sturdy and the three layers of pencils are easily removable thanks to the indents on the side to hold them. The pencils themselves have a good shade range. They come pre sharpened, which is very good because who would want to sharpen 72 pencils in one go! They do have to be sharpened with a blade, as they're pastel pencils and not regular ones and a sharpener would damage the lead. The colors go on very nicely onto paper. They're well pigmented and soft. They blend well too. I tried odd combinations of colors on the opposite sides of the color wheel (like red and green or yellow and purple) and even those blend pretty well. They layer pretty well too. The color underneath does lift off, but that's because these are pastel pencils and that was something I expected anyway. I tried them on a couple different papers and they're best on not-too-textured paper. They're bright on gray toned papers as well. By the way, my comparison point is Comte A Paris and Stabilo, both which brands I have a few pastel pencils by which I bought in singles. These are comparable to those and don't perform worse in any way. Would I recommend this? Yes!! I've not drawn with them yet but they function really well. If my artwork fails to look nice that would be my failure, not the art supply's. They're affordable and at a good price point too. 10/10 for anyone looking to explore pastel pencils!!
