Nice piece of security kit
Heavy duty key safe. Quite straightforward to fix to wall. Had to use own plugs and screws for mounting to brick. Like that you don't need to put code in again to close up safe when open (unlike some makes). Bear in mind that any code you choose you can enter numbers/letters in any sequence and you cannot repeat numbers eg if code is 12345 you could enter 45321 and safe will still open. You could never have say 11223 as combination. Do not know about longevity as just installed.

Great quality key safe
This is a really good quality product at a great price and only key safe I could find that is both police approved and LPCB approved. Bought for parents but as I've a teenager who forgets their keys, I may also purchase for myself!

Police Approved - Don't Buy Cheap
My second purchase. It is police approved and won't affect your insurance - there are only 3 such key safes. Ignore all the cheap ones if you want peace of mind. This really is a case of you get what you pay for. It is a real pain to install as you have to drill into brick. You will need a hammer drill of sufficient power (for most of us that means corded), ear defenders and safety specs, and some 5mm masonry bits (make sure they are top quality and have a spare or two). You will need a socket set and you will be exerting some significant force to drive the retaining bolts into the brick so leverage is important. Cheap ratchet socket sets won't do this job. I also needed two adjustable water pump pliers to release the drill bit from the keyless chuck when done. Set the combination before mounting, following the instructions. Test, test, test again. Write down the combination, photograph it. Lose it and you have a lump of metal attached to the wall that you will find very difficult to remove. Use a combination of 5 or 6 digits/letters. Most thieves will assume you'll use a 4 digit PIN so fool 'em. So if you have all the quality tools, carefully mark the centre of each hole using the rubber cover as a template. Your drill hole must be straight and precisely in the right place or the bolts won't locate. Take your time to get it precise. I marked the brick using the drill bit very slowly to avoid damaging the cover. Using the hammer action, drill your hole to 55mm. Do not attempt to go directly to mounting the safe - insert the bolts and tighten until the bolt is about 5mm out from the wall. You may need to drill a bit more. Once you are happy you can insert and remove the bolts, now mount the safe itself. To get it straight, tighten a little, move to the next one, tighten a little, top left, bottom right, top right, bottom left, repeat until the box is tight to the wall. If you've taken less than 30 minutes to an hour you've either got professional tools or have done it wrong. Test the combination again. Done. At this point it would take a sledgehammer to remove the safe from the wall, along with a chunk of the wall, and a sustained attack with an angle grinder to get it open. it would be quicker, quieter, and easier to break down your door than break open the safe to get the key. So not easy to install properly. It isn't a quick DIY job, neither should it be. You'll need a good quality power drill, drill bits, and socket set. You'll need a good eye for precision. You'll need time. I had to go to B&Q part way through to get water pump pliers to release a jammed bit, and some spare bits. But when it's done it is reassuringly fixed to the wall, will probably outlive the wall. Note that the bolts included are for brick walls - other anchoring kits are available for different walls, details in the box so you'll have to order and wait. If you don't have the quality tools then this is one occasion I would suggest using the Amazon professional installation service as it'll be cheaper and the installer should know how to get it right first time. As others have noted, the space inside is very limited. I only keep a front door key inside the safe - all other keys are indoors.

A very strong key safe
Very strong key safe. Easy to install - 5mm masonry bit, and 8mm socket with extension bar makes installation a breeze. Combination set up a little fiddly, as arrow positions are a little difficult to see. Overall, I'm well pleased with this product.

Never get locked out again
Very strong key safe cannot be opened without the code. I feel the keys are safe inside but it’s simple for me to get them when I forget my keys. Also my family can get in the house when ever they want or if something happens to me
