This product is hands down the best product for my curls. I am 57, fine curly hair that frizzes in humidity. I have tried Diva Curl, Aveda product for curls, Kevin Murphy products for curls, drugstore products for curls, you name it. NOTHING has worked and brought out my curls like Color Wow. It leaves my hair so soft - does leave a light cast, but not heavy at all. Curls are bouncy and light. Product is not creamy or greasy - you do need to apply it in sections, but that's not an issue. I will also say that I shampoo my hair twice a week with Hair Story New Wash and that products has improved my hair strength also, so applying Color Wow as a way to bring out the curls is a much added plus. I don't even defuse (although I could but I like the more natural definition of air dry). I could probably use a bit of texturizing spray for added lift because my hair is so fine, but other than that, I'm happy just using this product. Highly recommend!

I really like Dream Coat for Curly Hair overall. It does a great job controlling frizz and making my curls look smooth, defined, and polished. My hair feels soft and lightweight, not crunchy or sticky, which I appreciate. Also my second and third day hair still looks great with a little water on it to refresh. There isn't really a scent to it which is nice.I’m giving it four stars because it doesn’t give me big, bouncy curls unless I use a diffuser. Without diffusing, my curls look nice but a bit more relaxed and not as much volume. With the right technique, though, it works really well, and I’d still recommend it for anyone looking for frizz control and curl definition.

I have never tried the "original" spray, just this one for curls. So I do not have that one for comparison. I only gave this 3 stars- I actually do like it a lot but do to the couple of drawbacks I have with it, I doubt I would by it again. I rarely, if ever, have had a curl enhancer that did not provide any sort of hold that actually kept definition in my hair. So I was a bit doubtful this would but I gave it a try anyway. Well, it does not keep it's definition AT ALL unless I have a good hold of some sort - gel, mousse, hair spray, etc. The first time I tried it, I wanted to test it without any hold. Things were going good and my curls actually looked super pretty. I took my dog for a walk and came back to super frizz and hardly any curl definition. I am not even exaggerating. It wasn't windy outside but there was a good amount of humidity, so I am sure that was the main reason - it's humid here more than not. Next time I tried the same but using a diffuser/dryer. Same thing happened. I have tried using it with a dryer and a round brush for large, smooth curls and that does look really nice but I don't want to always style my hair like that.Since those tries, I make sure to always use a really good hold. This spray does still make a difference in the appearance and curl definition, even though I add other product. In fact a really pretty shape and a lot of shine. I love the way it looks but I also find that I have to use a ton of it (I have very thick hair). So I started saving it only for times when I want my hair to look extra nice - like going out and such - since I cant afford to go through this quickly and buy it again so often. I may eventually get more if I want to have it for a special occasion or something but for the most part I will just use my regular curl product.Though, I am now intrigued to try the original spray for the times that I straighten my hair - so I plan to get that soon!

I have fine curly hair this curly hair coat is great I have tried everything!! Does not weigh hair down leaves hair soft no crunchy !!! Does not work as well on dry hair but this is my go to !!!!

Wonderful product for fine curls. Leaves me with big bouncy curls and NO crunch! I do recommend being liberal with application, on hair surface and underneath. I am sold for life!

I'm saddened to say this product hates my hair.I couldn't wear my hair down.I had no choice but to slick it up with another product.I looked at every review video and comment across the Internet for days on Amazon, YouTube, social media, etc...I tried to do my research before buying this product and check that it worked with all curly hair types.Unfortunately my results were not great not even good I look like a crazy poodle that was homeless. This product did not define my curls nor did it take away frizz it created an extreme amount of frizz and puffiness. It looked as if I was in bed sick for days like I didn't even try. I followed the instructions to a T and I watch all tutorials online before I utilize the product. Not only did I use other sources of people who utilize a product I went directly to the manufacturer's website as well as a social media and make sure I follow the exact steps that were taken but the tutorials on there.I was trying to utilize this product because it stated it was a one use product style without me having to use gel and other products curly hair people normally have to use. It was supposed to be a one stop shop but it did not work for me at all. I'm extremely disappointed in this product but I am happy that I brought the travel small size and not a large size. I would really be upset. It was a waste of my money. I would give the product one star but when I was putting it through my hair I thought it was going to work because when it was wet it looked as though it was separating and defining the curls although when it dried it looked horrific. I was on my way to a event I did not have enough time to change my hairstyle which is my fault for using the product on the first time and going out somewhere. I just thought it would be a great product to use for this event to provide me with a defined curly hairstyle for my event. Instead made me look like a frizzy poof ball. Which everyone at the event asked me oh my gosh what happened to your hair and not in a good way. I was so embarrassed. Luckily I fixed the front and put up my hair It looks so much worse out/down. So I'm extremely disappointed.The first three pictures are with the product wow brand and the last picture where I'm wearing red is my hair using my normal products with hair gel on a was and go.I already have thick hair so all it did was make me look dry, frizzy and my curls look crusty.

It works like a magic, making styling much easier and it stays longer, even in humid weather, much less frizz. I will get it as soon as I finish the last one. Its part of my routin now.

Followed the instructions precisely on towel-dried, combed hair. I was left with beachy waves but more frizz than I even usually have. You'd still need an additional serum or similar on top, so it does not do what is promised and the recommendations are misleading.
